I wanted to thank you for your compliment a while back regarding my work on Quds Force. Alas, I think I will take a break from it. A whole bunch of new editors have come to the page. In accordance with wikipolicy, I assume goodwill on their part but sometimes it seems like special interest groups form to systematically push a particular agenda or view on pages related to their agenda. A good example might be the battle between people who are apparently ethnic Greeks and apparently ethnic Persians over the Battle of Thermopylae and the film 300_(film). Anyway, it appears to me, that a group of ethnic Persians who have a bias towards Iran have been editing pages in a way favorable to Iran both on the Quds Force page but also on pages like US raid on Iranian liaison office in Arbil. In both cases I have tried to provide balance but I am one person and they are a group (that appears to be coordinated). I will assume good faith on their part and that they really believe that the Iranian view of current events is the objective view. I just this it is frustrating and a shame that because an apparently coordinated group decides to "adopt" a page and there is only one person working on the same page with a different perspective, that the article takes the POV (IMHO) of the special interest group. The history of the company I wrote is sourced from the company's website, and inevitably uses a few words and phrases from it, but I did write an original text that I think flows somewhat better, and is more objective (ie, less of a sales script). I've been editing enough to completely understand that it can sometimes be difficult to avoid similar wording or phrasing when writing an article, but some of these sentences are copied word for word. Even if properly cited, I don't believe Wikipedia allows this much quoting unless there is a very good reason/rationale and it is unmistakably marked. You might want to look at these pages for further clarification Wikipedia:Copyrights, Wikipedia:Copyright FAQ, and Wikipedia:Fair use#Text. This article needs to be completely rewritten anyway because the existing introduction, written by a previous user, is a copy/paste job from the front page here. After you prodded Robert Kilmain, someone removed the prod tag and hoax warning without explanation. So I've moved it to AfD. Personally, I'd just use AfD for hoaxes, if you're pretty sure. Teva

Hello, Joshdboz. I rewrote the article. I was aware that the content had been copied, but it was a very small amount and was fact-type information (facts cannot be copyrighted). I should have rewritten it, but I was hoping that it would be reworked eventually. When an article is composed of copyrighted content, but is notable, it is common practice to write a short paragraph or two so that Wikipedia has at least some information on it. Also, the existence of the article encourages contributions to it.

If you continue to have problems with the editor, you can try the most appropriate administrator contact on Wikipedia:Requests for administrator attention. However, it should be made clear that it is a policy matter (like not posting copyrighted content), rather than what should go into an article (content dispute). I can restore the image description page if you like, but considering it's one line it would seem to me that it would be just as easy for you to copy-paste it when you re-upload the image. Hi Joshdboz, Thanks for your vote at the Category:American Conservative discussion. The votes were 2:1 in favor of keeping it. You might have an interest in an article I've just created Pre-Iraq War opinions on Saddam Hussein. It's poorly named (something I want to change) but as it stands now, it's essentially statements made about how dangerous Saddam's regime was considered before the war. Munich massacre

Thanks for the input. As a Jew, I feel very passionate about this subject, and would like as much of the full story to be told as possible.

I get a bit irritated when people climb all over me for NPOV, when it's plain that facts have no POV. The fact that the Germans botched the rescue operation and failed to save the Israelis cannot be glossed over or whitewashed. At least one person who complained to me about POV sounded like he was an apologist for the terrorists - and when I told him so, in just those words, he backed off. A lot of what I've contributed to the article comes directly from the Groussard, Reeve and Klein books - if people want EVERY SINGLE CITATION included, the article would be twice as long as it already is.

I'm sorry for what you have gone through. However, Wikipedia is not therapy, and therefore could not and should not be responsible for what you have experienced. While this might sound harsh to you (and I apologize for anything in advance), we cannot be lenient on and introduce edits that are against the Wikipedia policies and guidelines (in this case, maintenance of neutral point of view) just because it is the only way to make you feel better. Terrorist

The usage of the word "terrorist" is required in this situation. These groups are terrorist organizations and should therefore be called terrorist organizations. Calling them anything else allows them dignity that they dont deserve! Simply calling everybody a 'militant' makes a soldier and a terrorist equal. A problem concerning a template

There is a template Politics of Iran and on this template, there is a link to Iran international crisis since 24 December 2006, which seems to me normal.

Because he does not like the page, Gerash77 not only has suppressed this link on 9 February 2007 and has since entered into an edit war by suppressing it every day. On top of that, he is trying to create problems for me. He has told an administrator, user:AndrewRT that I was the problem, created this edit war, asked him to send me warnings etc.

Samjhauta Express bombings image

Every argument for keeping Image:Samjhaut Express bombings.jpg was equally argued for deletion. If you look at sheer numbers there were four keeps (TheFEARgod, Joshdboz, Nishkid64, and Kafziel) and four deletes (Rebelguys2, lamunknown, Geni and Megapixie), as I count someone refuting a keep statement as someone you supports deleting the image. Plus, I believe deletion is the correct thing to do per current Wikipedia fair use policy, specifically #8 and counterexamples, specifically #5. In my opinion, the image did not add significantly to article and was being used merely for illustration. If you want to see the use of a press photo that I believe meets policy, look at the image in the Oklahoma City bombing article. Read the "Effect on children" paragraph and you will see commentary about the copyrighted image on the right. I make my decisions based on policy, guidelines and consensus in that order. Like you said, consensus did not exist, however, I think the guideline and policy pointed the way toward deletion. While I understand that there is some confusion between vandalism and edits you don't like, some people around here can get mad at being called a vandal. So, you should probably be careful with that. Motto of the day

Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.

When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. I am extremely concerned about the action you took in deleting most of the page for `Abbas ibn `Abd al-Muttalib. This man played a central role in the early years of the Moslem religion and the Arab empire. He was a major historical figure. The action you took could be seen as an attack by Wikipedia on a religion shared by many hundreds of millions of people. I strongly urge you to immediately revert your edit. You may of course post appropriate notices to initiate a debate over copyright infringement, neutrality etc. I am sure many editors would be glad to help improve the article. I do not doubt the importance of the subject. There are two issues with the text: 1) It was clearly copied, thus the burden is on the editor adding it to prove that the text is licensed in such a way to permit its use. The default is to delete copied text when in doubt. 2) Regardless of whether or not it is legal to use this text, it is written in an unencyclopedic way and frankly this is a very suspect looking website. Is this a reliable source? Is this historical fact or a somewhat embellished story? Again, I encourage you to improve and expand the article if it is important to you, but you should focus on writing your own words instead of looking for things to copy. Re: Images

Hi Josh! I am also against copyright paranoia, however, the new fair use rules (actually in place for over a year by now) are fairly clear on this issue. Paragraph 12 states: Pictures of people still alive, groups still active, and buildings still standing; provided that taking a new free picture as a replacement (which is almost always considered possible) would serve the same encyclopedic purpose as the non-free image. This includes non-free promotional images.

In light of that, I can't really see a way that those images can be included. The IDF website is merely repeating what Israeli law already says, and according to both US and Israeli law, using an image of a living person on Wikipedia would be fair use. However, Wikipedia tries to make as little use as possible of fair use images without compromising the quality of the encyclopedia in the long run, which is what this policy/guideline is meant to explain (among other things).

There is only that lone Fox News investigation on Israeli/Mossad connection to the 9/11 attacks, most of the mainstream media won't touch it. Please review WP:VERIFY. If there is no published material on something from reliable sources, it is not included. See especially Exceptional claims require exceptional sources. Claiming Israel had the "largest espionage ring in US history larger than the Soviet Union" is quite exceptional, and needs more than a couple Fox News reports (which were apparently removed by the company itself) and had little other coverage in the press. Hey Josh. I'm sure you have noticed that a fellow editor has joined the "watch" at the Obama Timeline. I'm also sure that Editor:Aldux has the very best of intentions. My concern is that the type of inclusions that he is making is stretching the criteria of what IS included (or is it just my POV about what SHOULD be included?????). He is a bit wordy so far but I have chopped the unnecessary bits and abbreviated his edits. That's not a problem. My apprehension is not of Aldux, per se, but of how far to stretch the Timeline out from Obama (and Biden). My fear is that the article will become overloaded and cluttered with each and every step that each and every cabinet member and their multi-leveled depts make. For instance, the March 9th (Office of Mgmt and Budget) and March 13 (Dept of Justice) edits. I don't think they have a place in the Timeline. I think that as time goes on more and more stretched edits will be made by more and more GFEditors until we are reporting on how many $1 bills the Treasury Dept. made today or what brand of computers the US Bureau of the Census has purchased. I am reaching out to you for feedback. I'll probably visit Alduxs' talk early next week to open communication with him. I think its a great article with really great and lasting and bare-boned potential. I'm glad to be a part of it with you and Editor:Hysteria18. I dont support ownership of articles and I don't get into edit wars. I hope you will agree that the article has the beginnings of an important and most informative look at the Presidency of Barack Obama. You are right, I apologize not doing so. A different layout for the template could be interesting (perhaps even with names, or those delivered in person/by text) but I didn't quite see the logic in the way you had broken up the dates by 20 year blocks interspaced with 4 year blocks, right? Actually, I broke it up into 25-year blocks. It just so happens that the first and last blocks were shorter than 25 years. Unless... perhaps you have a smaller screen and you were actually seeing wrap-around? I suppose that's a possibility. Ross Rutherford

Ross was discussed as not being significant. He is the first state champion and amateur bowler from Santa Claus, Indiana. There is no information online about him due to the significance of his accomplishments and the information I have obtained have been from direct interviews and knowing Ross for the past 10 years. As well as from local newspapers, school newsleters, and IBCA newsleters to members. He is significant enough to have an encyclopedia page do to the small culture of Santa Claus and the significance of bowling with in the area and Indiana as a whole. To publish a page on an up and coming bowler was something I hoped to do to spark more interest in the sport and give Ross credit for his accomplishments as being the first amateur/professional bowler from Santa Claus.

Thanks for your edit to the subject article. I did a little pruning to keep it in accordance with some necessary guidelines that have been set-up regarding brevity.. If you consider all the people that are in attendance when President Obama meets a fellow head of state or high ranking foreign dignatary you can understand why I removed the aide. No wonder I don't see you at the timeline. Your one busy guy! Timeline seems to have a good pace and life to it. There are some editors that add on a daily basis. I watch and "weed whack" a bit. But not to much really. With all the problems that other Obama pages are experiencing, I'm proud that Timeline is peaceful and calm. And it should be a model for articles that were almost deleted but were saved from the trash pile. You had the initial Idea for it and you saved its life soon after birth. Why are you so obsessed with saying the biased Indian view is correct but quick to condemn the Pakistani view of things?

The article contained a lot of very bad propaganda, totally unproven, and as is typical with the Hindu Mafia on Wikipedia, they will throw in random comments backed by third-rate Indian newspapers.

I pointed to TWO sources - one Pakistani, and one Indian, regarding how Afghanistan is used as a terrorist training ground by India to infiltrate Pakistani territory, and that is one of the primary reasons why India has a vested interest in continuing its development projects in India. Further, I outlined that there was ZERO evidence linking Pakistan to these terrorist attacks, and if you read the article you will see that the FACT is that India ALWAYS blames Pakistan for EVERYTHING. If the toilet seats in Mumbai smell, they will say it's an ISI conspiracy.

You found it fairly simple to delete mine and warn me like some "big man" who thinks he knows something about current affairs in that part of the world, and then you ignore wholesale propaganda additions by the Indian mafia.

I know Israelis and and many Jews worship India because of how anti-Muslim most Indians are, but is your allegiance so high that you must engage in the act of destroying dissenting views? What's the point of consensus and collaboration if you favor one narrative over another?

If Indians can quote random INDIAN sources that ISI is behind any and every attack, why can't a Pakistani or an American such as myself quote INDIAN sources that talk about how India is indeed a terrorist country that funds external terrorism and has been doing so for many years and that is why the Indian Embassy may have been attacked, and that is why India continues to fund so-called "projects" in the country - not because of some benevolency the Indians on Wikipedia are fabricating, but because it is indeed central to India's state-sponsored terrorism?

Even the two sources the Indians have quoted are Ultra Indian Nationalists. They cleverly attempted to hide the Indian origin of these so-called "Analysts" by not writing their entire first names. Do you even bother to read what Indians write so long as it is pro-India (hence Pro-Jew and Pro-Israel from your perspective?)

The current article is a joke after the "Responsibility" section - it's a typical Indian smear campaign run to propagate opinion as fact, even after I made edits to it, you WARNED ME, but you DID NOT WARN the INDIAN that changed it back to terrible propaganda.

Please grow up and stop "WARNING" me, because it only continues to show how biased you are.

Now chances are you won't be MAN enough to even talk about this issue and will delete it, in that case I'll be sure to raise a stink about it with the Wikimedia Foundation for your biased and selective "warnings" and your bias towards allowing Indian propagandists to run loose with ridiculously untrue statements.

There is ZERO evidence ISI or Pakistan has ANYTHING to do with the Indian Embassy attack, and further, there are geostrategic reasons why India continues to "develop" Afghanistan - not some random "OUR RELATIONS ARE GOOD AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD" that the India propaganda machine is pushing.

WP:BRD

When I invoke WP:BRD, I mean "bring this up on talk and let's have a discussion". The reason for my revert is that I object to the edit. It thus doesn't have consensus.

The problem with it, as I explained in brief in my edit summary, is that Latin American organisations frequently make declarations supporting the Argentine side in these disputes. We don't need to report this over and over, any more than we need to report every time Hugo Chavez condemns the United States, or every time someone suggests that the Iraq War was illegal. I see you've done a lot of great work. Kudos. Just a comment on TK. I was frankly taken aback by your commemt that you've rarely seen opposition to the use of the word assassination in place of/synonymous with regard to targeted killings by Israel. Frankly, in the first place, I pointed editors to the #1 book on the subject by an academic -- the Georgetown Law professor, and that is totally at odds with your impression. Similarly, I provided a quote from one of the foremost U.S. jurists of our lifetime, and that was at odds. Even more odd is that I found a great deal of Israeli writing that raised the same point (which I didn't bother to reflect ... at least as of yet; perhaps I should). Furthermore, the definition of the term as it is used in international law is definitely negative (even moreso that the colloquial use), but even the colloquial use is negative -- one is ipso facto illegal (murder); the other, not. Furthermore, the U.S. I might point out views assassination as illegal, but targeted killing as legal, and carefully describes the difference between the two. So I guess bottom line, have perused much of what is out there on the subject that one can access on google, let alone what I know of international law, given your good background I found your comment surprising. I must say I didnt see a more prominent US academic with a contrary view, or a more prominent US jurist, and the view was even more pronounced among the Israeli scholars and jurists. I guess I would urge you to look at the examples I gave, which must not be what you've seen, and give it another think. If you have the time. And inclination. Best. (Note -- we don't have to decide that it is A or not -- just that a significant enough body of thinkers say it is not A, that it should not be a subsection in A, but rather an article of its own. Thanks, I was merely commenting on my experience on Wikipedia and the usage I've seen in the popular press (most English-language Israeli press freely used "assassination" when talking about Mahmoud al-Mabhouh), and from that perspective, I don't think there's any reason for us to avoid the use of "assassination" synonymously with "targeted killing", at least in most cases. That said, if there is substantial literature that tries to distinguish between the two, I wouldn't be opposed to a separate article on TK. I'd be interested in reading it myself. The first and last are probably the best academic (other than perhaps Dershowitz) and jurist that I've seen write on the topic, and they address this point rather directly. Also, if you would, take a look at my abortion analogy. Finally, there was some conversation in Israel as to what to call it, and I believe the government position was "targeted killing" (in English), but there were even tortured (in Hebrew) suggestions such as phrase meaning something like "killing to defend citizens of the state from being killed". Which didn't fly. Are you reading the JP, or Haaretz? And oh -- if after reading the literature you do believe that it says what I indicate it says, if you could indicate your view on that discussion that would be great. Wikimania 2012 bid, DC chapter & next meetup!

  1. At WikiXDC in January, User:Harej proposed that DC submit a bid to host Wikimania 2012. A bid and organizing committee is being formed and seeks additional volunteers to help. Please look at our bid page and sign up if you want to help out. You can also signup for the bid team's email list.
  2. To support the Wikimania bid, more events like WikiXDC, and outreach activities like collaborations with the Smithsonian (ongoing) and National Archives, there also has been discussion of forming Wikimedia DC, as an official Wikimedia chapter. You can express interest and contribute to chapter discussions on the Wikimedia DC Meta-Wiki pages.
  3. To discuss all this and meet up with special guest, Dutch Wikipedian User:Kim Bruning, there will be a meetup, Wikipedia:Meetup/DC 16 this Tuesday at 7pm, at Capitol City Brewery, Metro Center. There will be a pre-meetup Wikimania team meeting at 6pm at the same location.

DC Meetup: May 7 @ Tenleytown Library

Backstage at the Smithsonian Libraries

Backstage at the Smithsonian Libraries is part of Wikipedia Loves Libraries 2012, the second annual continent-wide campaign to bring Wikipedia and libraries together with on-site events. Running this fall through October and November, libraries (and archives) will open their doors to help build a lasting relationship with their local Wikipedian community.

Organized by Wikimedia DC, this event will take place on October 12, 2012, and will include new editor training, a "backstage pass" tour of the National Museum of Natural History, and an edit-a-thon. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Wikimedia DC Holiday Party and Wiki Loves Monuments Exhibition

Please join Wikimedia DC and four other local media nonprofits—the National Press Club's Young Members Committee, 100Reporters, IRE and the Fund for Investigative Journalism—in winding down another year with a night of well-mannered frivolity.

The festivities will take place on Friday evening from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Zenger Room on the 13th Floor of the National Press Club, located on 529 14th Street NW, near Metro Center. There will be meat and vegetarian appetizers as well as a cash bar with specially reduced drink prices all night long. In addition, we will be exhibiting the finalists of the Wiki Loves Monuments photo contest at the event.

We will discuss the work done so far by WikiProject U.S. Federal Government Legislative Data to put data from Congress onto Wikipedia, as well as what more needs to be done. If you have ideas you'd like to contribute, or if you're just curious and feel like meeting up with other Wikipedians, you are welcome to come! Be sure to RSVP here if you're interested.

Though we have a massive snowstorm coming up, spring is just around the corner! Personally, I am looking forward to warmer weather.

Wikimedia DC is looking forward to a spring full of cool and exciting activities. In March, we have coming up:

An exciting month of wiki events!

Hello there,

I am pleased to say that April will be a very exciting month for Wikipedia in Washington, DC. We have a lot of different events coming up, so you will have a lot to choose from.

First, a reminder that our second annual Women in the Arts Edit-a-Thon will take place on Sunday, March 30 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

Coming up in April, we have our first-ever Open Government WikiHack with the Sunlight Foundation on April 5–6! We are working together to use open government data to improve the Wikimedia projects, and we would love your help. All are welcome, regardless of coding or editing experience. We will also be having a happy hour the day before, with refreshments courtesy of the Sunlight Foundation.

On Friday, April 11 we are having our first edit-a-thon ever with the Library of Congress. The Africa Collection Edit-a-Thon will focus on the Library's African and Middle East Reading Room. It'll be early in the morning, but it's especially worth it if you're interested in improving Wikipedia's coverage of African topics.

The following day, we are having our second annual Wiki Loves Capitol Hill training. We will discuss policy issues relevant to Wikimedia and plan for our day of outreach to Congressional staffers that will take place during the following week.

There are other meetups in the works, so be sure to check our meetup page with the latest. I hope to see you at some of these events!

I'm pleased to tell you about two upcoming edit-a-thons:

  • This Tuesday, April 29, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM, we have the Freer and Sackler edit-a-thon. (Sorry for the short notice!)
  • On Saturday, May 10 we have the Wikipedia APA edit-a-thon, in partnership with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Washington, DC meetups in June

Wikimedia DC has yet another busy month in June. Whether you're a newcomer to Wikipedia or have years of experience, we're happy to see you come. Here's what's coming up:

  • On Wednesday, June 11 from 7 to 9 PM come to the WikiSalon at the Cove co-working space. Hang out with Wikipedia enthusiasts!
  • Saturday, June 14 is the Frederick County History Edit-a-Thon from 11 AM to 4 PM. Help improve local history on Wikipedia.
  • The following Saturday, June 21, is the June Meetup. Dinner and drinks with Wikipedians!
  • Come on Tuesday, June 24 for the Wikipedia in Your Library edit-a-thon at GWU on local and LGBT history.
  • Last but not least, on Sunday, June 29 we have the Phillips Collection Edit-a-Thon in honor of the Made in America exhibit.

The Great American Wiknic and other events in July

I am pleased to announce our fourth annual picnic, the Great American Wiknic, will take place at Meridian Hill Park in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, July 13 from 1 to 5 PM (rain date: July 20). We will be hanging out by the statue of Dante Alighieri, a statue that was donated to the park in 1921 as a tribute to Italian Americans. Read more about the statue on Wikipedia. If you would like to sign up for the picnic, you can do so here. When signing up, say what you’re going to bring!

July will also feature the second annual Great American Wiknic in Frederick, Maryland. This year’s Frederick picnic will take place on Sunday, July 6 at Baker Park. Sign up here for the Frederick picnic.

What else is going on in July? We have the American Chemical Society Edit-a-Thon on Saturday, July 12, dedicated to notable chemists, and our monthly WikiSalon on Wednesday, July 16.

Wikimedia DC invites revolutionaries, free thinkers, and other sundry editors to a DC WikiSalon

The WikiSalon is a special meetup usually held during the first and third full weeks of every month, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's an informal gathering of Wikimedia enthusiasts, who come together to discuss Wikimedia wikis and collaboratively edit. There's no set agenda, and guests are welcome to recommend articles for the group to edit or edit on their own.

If you're coming by Metro, the closest station is Dupont Circle (on the Red Line). If you're driving, a lot of parking opens up downtown after 6:30 PM, so finding a parking space (even a free one) should be easy. Once you've found the building, go to Cove on the second floor. We will be in the conference room.

Upcoming events:

  • February 6–8: The third annual ArtBytes Hackathon at the Walters Art Museum! This year Wikimedia DC is partnering with the Walters for a hack-a-thon at the intersection of art and technology, and I would like to see Wikimedia well represented.
  • February 11: The monthly WikiSalon, same place as usual. RSVP on Meetup or just show up!
  • February 15: Wiki Loves Small Museums in Ocean City. Mary Mark Ockerbloom, with support from Wikimedia DC, will be leading a workshop at the Small Museum Association Conference on how they can contribute to Wikipedia. Tons of representatives from GLAM institutions will be present, and we are looking for volunteers. If you would like to help out, check out "Information for Volunteers".

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Charles Winters Jr.

Long time no talk. I just noticed the addition of Charles Jr. to the section on my father's family, and I hate to point out that he never acknowledged this person as his son. In fact, I never knew about him until he called me a couple of Christmasses ago (surprise!) and he has not been in touch since. I'd prefer some of that excellent new DNA testing before taking the claim with no salt added. I don't know if that should be reflected in the article or not.

I suspect my mother's family would be rather surprised at how many times my da was married before her....

The article Louis Jacoby has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I am proposing deletion of this article due to the subject Louis Jacoby (engraver, not the singer) having little to no secondary coverage from reputable sources. None of his works appear notable enough to possess their own entries, he has won no awards, etc. The entire article hinges on a single source, which is an auction website.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
