Your Articles for Deletion nominations

edit

G'day, this is just to let you know that there is a set procedure for creating Article for Deletion discussions, which you can easily find by typing WP:AfD in the search box on the left of the page. Instructions there will tell you how to go about it. The fact that you haven't used the proper Templates means basically that nobody knows the discussions exist, otherwise they would have been closed days ago. More specifically, if you think an article's content needs to be merged, there's no need to even open an AfD discussion; you can either post a comment on the article's Talk page to discuss it, or be bold and just go ahead and do the merging yourself. Typing WP:MERGE in the search box will get you to a page that tells you how to do that. If the two dinosaur names are typos, they should be redirected instead of deleted; type WP:REDIRECT to get you to a page that tells you how to do that. Edit summaries

edit

Hi, this was probably just a slip-up when you changed your mind, but you left an edit summary which did not refer to deletion when tagging Tilgate Formation for proposed deletion. This requirement at WP:PROD#Nominating is only fair to other editors who may have the page on their watchlist.

I hope this is not a habitual oversight, but I just noticed that you left another edit summary "added flags" for an edit in which you not only did that but also deleted several table entries at List of stratigraphic units... Your deletions may well be justified, but please be open about the changes that you are making.

Hope this helps, – Fayenatic London 10:26, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Kwangmyongsong 3-2.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Kwangmyongsong 3-2.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. File permission problem with File:Dusisiren83041s.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dusisiren83041s.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:55, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as 2015 in paleontology, is not in accordance with our policies. Your draft article, Draft:Cuba and weapons of mass destruction

edit

Hello Extrapolaris. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Cuba and weapons of mass destruction".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Cuba and weapons of mass destruction}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Replaceable fair use File:Kuhlia xenura.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Kuhlia xenura.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 22:00, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of surviving U.S. veterans of WW2

edit

The article List of surviving U.S. veterans of WW2 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article seeks to segment the U.S. personnel from List of surviving veterans of World War II. The removal of U.S. personnel was reverted at [1] and at [2]. This duplicative material is not being updated; cf at least 35 intermediate revisions by 21 users at the full list.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Question

edit

Did you really make this edit, where you removed every veteran with the last name "Brown" from the List of surviving veterans of World War II, with the edit summary; "Removed vets with the last name Brown b/c they're nothing but a bunch of brownies", then revert them back in, saying "Sorry, just was making fun of the last name Brown", then remove them all again, with the same edit summary? Yes, I made this edit because I was simply making fun of the last name Brown, then reverted it just to make other wiki users happy, jokingly referring to John Brown as John Brown the Brownie.Extrapolaris (talk) 01:25, 11 April 2016 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply

File permission problem with File:Douglas XB-31 and Model 423 side views.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Douglas XB-31 and Model 423 side views.jpg.

You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 12:52, 20 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Teleidosaurus

edit

What exactly were you trying to achieve with your move of Teleorhinus calvadosii to Wikipedia:Teleidosaurus and then moving the redirect left behind to User:Teleidosaurus? I've requested deletion of the user namespace redirect, as that clearly is not supposed to go there. Note: Teleidosaurus exists as an article? Thanks. – Train2104 (t • c) 23:29, 23 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Teleorhinus calvadosii is a spelling error for Teleidosaurus calvadosii, so Teleorhinus calvadosii should be marked for deletion.Extrapolaris (talk) 23:31, 23 July 2017 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply
If it's a spelling error, it can be considered a plausible redirect. I've changed the target of Teleorhinus calvadosii to Teleidosaurus, which is what I believe you wanted in the first place. The project space redirect has been tagged for deletion. – Train2104 (t • c) 23:35, 23 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Teleorhinus calvadosii was of course not a spelling error. It is a no longer accepted combination of the specific name calvadosii with the generic name Teleorhinus, the latter now having been replaced by Terminonaris. It means that some author(s) at some time placed the species in the genus Teleorhinus, a scientific view that has now become superseded.  Wikiklaas  14:07, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Template:Plesiosauria

edit

Dear Extrapolaris, after you changed Template:Plesiosauria, it had become a mess; you must have noticed that because you tried to repair it with several "error fixes". I guess you would have done better to undo all your changes and ask someone for help. Leaving the template broken seems unacceptable.

What exactly were you trying to achieve? If you can explain it in a few words (like: adding genus such and such to this and this list, inserting a subfamily between group x and y), I could try to help you achieve this. For now, I undid all your changes, as the template is used on quite a number of highly visible pages.  Wikiklaas  12:29, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've created the taxonomy templates (see WP:Autotaxobox system) so that the automatic taxobox at Pappaceras works, but I've no idea whether the taxonomy is correct or not. It looks like you'll need to replace to automatic taxobox as the taxon is not recognised. Because I'm not too familiar with cranial morphological terms, could you check whether theres a noun missing from this pariah sentence: "..more anteriorly projected supraoccipital and parietal, and..."? I'd have expected clarification, with a noun such as "bone", "foramen", "process" etc.

Nick Moyes (talk) 09:25, 24 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

It's not a good idea to leave the automatic taxobox not working. To fix this:
  • Look at the dummy taxobox generated – the second box – and find the linked word "fix".
  • Click on the link. Fill in the rank (e.g. genus) and the parent (e.g. the family). Put |extinct=yes if appropriate. Save this page.
  • Go back to the article where the taxobox isn't working, open it for editing and save with no changes. Now check the taxobox.
I regularly check the error-tracking category that monitors incorrect taxoboxes, and will create the taxonomy template if required, as I did at Tiucetus, but it really should be fixed when an article is created, and certainly when reviewed. Peter coxhead (talk) 07:49, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Taxonomy templates

edit

Hi, at Isocetus, you put

|rank=genus
|parent=Thalassotherii
|extinct=yes

inside the automatic taxobox. This doesn't work. Autotaxoboxes pick up their taxonomy from "taxonomy templates". You can read all about the system at WP:Autotaxobox system. The simple approach is:

  1. When an incomplete taxobox appears (with a "help" box above it), look for the word "fix" in the incomplete taxobox, and click on it.
  2. This will create a partly filled taxonomy template. Add the rank, parent and whether extinct here and save.
  3. You may need to repeat the process if the parent doesn't have a taxonomy template.
  4. Now return to the article which has the incomplete taxobox, open for editing and preview. You should now see a complete taxobox; check it and save.

I'm always happy to help with autotaxobox matters. Peter coxhead (talk) 06:49, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Taxoboxes

Hi. Any chance you could add manual taxoboxes to a few of the recent articles you've edited like Herpetocetus and Aeolodon? They've currently got automatic taxoboxes where the taxa aren't recognised. Cheers, Nick Moyes (talk) 23:31, 10 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Nick Moyes: the taxobox at Herpetocetus should always have worked, as the taxonomy template has existed since 2016 – you sometimes need a purge or a null edit to get an automated taxobox to show correctly in a newly created article. The taxobox at Aeolodon is now fixed as well. Several of us watch the error-tracking categories and will eventually fix bad taxoboxes. Peter coxhead (talk) 13:29, 11 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Extrapolaris, you never actually completed the nomination page—there is no "hook" included, that "Did you know" question that would be placed on the main page as part of a set to intrigue the reader and inspire them to click on the bold link to the Lined butterflyfish article—and you also didn't complete step 3 as noted above. If you want to proceed with the nomination, you'll need to do these things. I'll be happy to help you if you'd like.
If you've decided not to proceed with the nomination, I'll arrange for the nomination page to be deleted if you don't want to tag it with the db-g7 template as noted above. Just let me know what you want to do. As it's been over a month since this was posted to your talk page, if I haven't heard back from you in another seven days, I'll assume you've lost interest and proceed accordingly. Thanks for your submission to DYK. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:47, 11 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
The edit you made was not what was asked for (you created a page at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Lined butterflyfish, which is not what step 3 says), and you still haven't modified the actual nomination to include a hook—an interesting statement about the fish based on the sourced information in the article—like those displayed on the main page. As I said, I'd be happy to help, but you need to let me know what you'd like to do. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:44, 13 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: Your edits on Hühteeg Svita

edit

First off you reverted my parameter to cretaceous rather than albian, as per wikiproject geology's talk page, the parameter was originally (and is still used) to mean interval, as the time frame of this formation is well characterized (middle to late Albian) Albian should be used in the "period" parameter. Secondly have you read the most up to date paper on the stratigraphy of the Choyr Basin?, there are only two formations, the lower Khalzan Uul Formation and the upper Khuren Dukh Formation. The Öösh formation appears to be in a completely different part of Mongolia, so isn't part of the Choyr basin, and therefore doesn't overlie the Khalzan Uul Formation, and the Öösh formation is 600-800 m thick rather than 100 m. Hemiauchenia (talk) 09:48, 4 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I understand, I wondered if there might be a temporal disconnect between the Oosh and Choyr Basin localities, because Shanag, Psittacosaurus, Asiatosaurus, and Prodeinodon are older than the dinos found in the Khoyr Basin, which is why I reinstated the Oosh Formation page, because Oosh is in a different locality in Mongolia.68.4.252.105 (talk) 00:19, 5 August 2018 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ufag C.I

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ufag C.I requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:dTOKyHywNegJ:https://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp%3Faircraft_id%3D744+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:43, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

new articles

thanks for having a go, but as you can see above your efforts fall short of the mark. This is not a disaster and can be rectified relatively easily. Firstly you might like to use the templates at Template:WPAVIATION creator for easy article creation that will avoid other editors bringing it up to acceptable standards. Secondly, do not just cut and paste from other articles. Even books are not allowed to be repeated verbatim. If you don't want to follow the guidelines you may find that your efforts will, at best. be re-wriiten or, at worst, deleted. Happy editing - the articles are great to see, but.......--Petebutt (talk) 22:57, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Potez 34 moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Potez 34, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. New aircraft articles

edit

Thanks for plethora of articles, however, the vast majotity use an unacceptable single source i.e. Airwar.ru, which is not accepable to Wikipedia due to its widespread copyright abuses. By all means use it as a backup, or a source of references, but try not to cite from it directly. The other issue is the style of your articles, which leave a lot to be desired; to produce good articles, that won't get re-written, try using Template:WPAVIATION creator, and write using your own words and not just cutting and pasting a translation program's output. Just a few thoughts. Nice to see articles coming for these more obscure aircraft, but it becomes tiresome having to re-write the majority of them!! --Petebutt (talk) 16:13, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Extrapolaris is a very valuable editor, who is probably more up to date with new palaeontological developments than anyone else here (losing him would be a big loss). Blocking indefinitely seems very excessive, since he doesn't even appear to have been blocked before. At most, it should be a temporary block. FunkMonk (talk) 17:15, 16 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Repeated copyright violation is one of those things where we regularly block indefinitely as a first block, as it can get Wikipedia into legal trouble and so is something we have to take very seriously. But the block is only until Extrapolaris can satisfy a reviewing admin that they do properly understand Wikipedia's copyright policy and that no more violations will occur. Hopefully someone will review the request soon. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:19, 16 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Extrapolaris. I'm not sure why you didn't realise that the material you were adding was copyright and that it was not okay to add here. Could you please answer a question: When is it okay to copy from your source and when is it not okay? How can you tell the difference? — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:16, 17 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi Diannaa, it's not okay to copy material from my source when not asking permission of the copyright holder from sources that are not public domain or compatibly licensed (unless it's a brief quotation used in accordance with Wikipedia's non-free content policy and guideline). Even inserting text copied with some changes can be a copyright violation if there is substantial linguistic similarity in creative language or sentence structure; this is known as close paraphrasing, which can also raise concerns about plagiarism. Such a situation should be treated seriously, as copyright violations not only harm Wikipedia's redistributability, but also create legal issues. It's okay to copy material from my source if my write in in my words, not the copyright owner.Extrapolaris (talk) 00:12, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply

Non-existent categories

edit

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Fauvel AV.29, please make sure that the category page actually exists. In some cases, it may be appropriate to create a new category in accordance with Wikipedia's categorization guidelines, but it is usually better to use the most specific available existing category. It is never appropriate to leave a page categorised in a non-existent category, i.e. one whose link displays in red. You may find it helpful to use the gadget HotCat, which tests whether a category exists before saving a change. Thank you. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 17:53, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is your second block for copyright violations. What has changed? Moreover, I am concerned that you do not understand the collaborative nature of this project and are not responsive to others concerns - you only have 0.2% user talk edits. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I was struck by the nearly identical text used in the "reason" part of this "unblocked" template as on February 16 for the previous copyvio block. Surely something more should have been provided to explain why, in this specific case, it happened again despite reassurances three weeks ago that it wouldn't. The source webpage does not have a copyright notice, but it doesn't have to. Under current copyright law, literary works are subject to copyright whether they are tagged as such or not. No registration is required, and no copyright notice is required. So we have to assume that all material we find online or in other sources such as books or magazines is copyright. Exceptions include works of the US Government and material specifically released under license. Even then, proper attribution is required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:37, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I now understand that copyright is a legal right, existing in many countries, that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to determine whether, and under what conditions, this original work may be used by others. Copyright violations involve copying material without the permission of the copyright holder from sources that are not public domain or compatibly licensed (unless it's a brief quotation used in accordance with Wikipedia's non-free content policy and guideline) is likely to be a copyright violation. The situation for images and other media is slightly different, as a wider variety of licenses is accepted. But, in short, media which is not available under a suitable free license and which does not meet the non-free content criteria, should be assumed to be unacceptable. I have an understanding of what constitutes copyright violations. In essence, violations of copyright include copying text a public source without the permission of the copyright holder. Even copied text with some changes is a copyright violation, and so is media unavailable under a suitable free license. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

Ways to clean up List of notable surviving veterans of World War II

edit

Hi, I was thinking that in order to clean-up article about living WW2 veterans, an autopatrol could be set up to track obituaries for any vets on the list, because a number of veterans removed from the list in the past died a few months earlier.

We could also create separate subsections on the page detailing living famous athletes, politicians, scientists, and historians who fought in WW2.Extrapolaris (talk) 21:54, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply

Akaflieg Braunschweig SB-14 moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Akaflieg Braunschweig SB-14, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. Request reason:

The block for this account is unnecessary because I gave honored my promises not to engage in anymore copyright violations (the reason this account was blocked in the first place), and I accidentally created the account User:Snubble unaware of rules governing sockpuppetry. I also regret creating the accounts User:Supercalifornication and User:Convariety because those actions were acts of sockpuppetry. I sincerely apologize for the convenience that my short-sighted acts of sockpuppetry caused. 70.181.120.55 (talk) 04:26, 24 March 2022 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply

  • Extrapolaris has left out his most recent blocked sock account, User:Nothosaurus, which was blocked only 2 days ago. He has also used numerous IPs, apparently dynamic, including this one in the block request. I don't know exactly what the root cause here is, but he seems unwilling or unable to understand that he is not permitted to edit Wikipedia in any way for any reason whatsoever. Overall, he does good work, and as such I've tried to encourage him to respect his block for at least 6 months, but for some reason he thinks the block shouldn't apply to him any more because he is no longer adding copyvio text. I don't know how else to get this point across to him: His initial block was for copyright violations, but once he started using other accounts, the block is now for sockpuppetry also. In order to be unblocked, he MUST stop using other accounts or IP addresses to edit on Wikipedia. If he does not stop, he will never be unblocked. Further, any work he does on Wikipedia using other accounts, including on IPs, will be reverted and deleted. So continuing to work on Wikipedia is just wasting his time and ours. From what I can tell, perhaps English is not his first language, so he just isn't getting the point, but there could be other reasons a!so. I've spent the last several years trying to get these points across to him, but to no avail. I've offered to support his unblock if he will stop editing on Wikipedia for at least a year, but he won't even do that. Again, I don't know exactly what the issue is here, but whatever it is, he isn't getting the point. Perhaps someone else can get through to him, maybe in his native language, if it's not English. But my patience is almost expired. If he doesn't get the point soon, I will no longer advocate for his return. I know what his editing looks like, and I will continue to revert them or get the pages deleted, whichever is appropriate. I hate doing it, but Wikipedia does have rules, and they apply to everyone.
