Creating Articles w/ Categories
editGood work creating new articles. When you create things, it helps tremendously to assign them to an accurate category (see WP:CG for info). If you're really not sure about categories, at least assign your new articles a stub category (see WP:SC for info). By assigning a category, you help make sure your new articles don't get lost as 'orphans' that are not associated with related topics. Feco
Creating a role
editReally? Never come across that expression before. Personally I'd argue "played ... in the original" is more easily understandable to the layman that "created the role", but that might be something for a WikiProject to decide. HornetMike 21:29, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Translation skills needed.
editHeya, can I call on your linguistic ability and ask you to translate our LGBT poster into Spanish? You can find it here: http://wplgbt.tripod.com/Wikipedianeedsyou.doc (You need to paste it into your toolbar or it won't open.) If you could keep the sentence sizes the same (so, "And we need people who can help us write them." stays on one line, to keep the dramatic impact), I would be grateful. Would you mind doing that for us? Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 00:37, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- That's cool. I want it for the new LGBT WikiProject on eswiki, so I'm sure they'll let you know if there's a mistake. :) Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 00:57, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Is it one page long? Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 10:34, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- Heya, Raystorm's interested in having a look at your poster, can you email it to me? Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 18:05, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

This is just a quick, automated note to let you know that there is an election being conducted over the next 7 days for the position of "Coordinator" for the LGBT WikiProject. Your participation is requested. -- SatyrTN (talk · contribs) |

Oh, Raystorm says that he really likes your translation apart from the fact that it's written in American Spanish. :) He says to thank you. And I thank you too! Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 23:41, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Brian Lowdermilk
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Brian Lowdermilk, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Deletion discussion about BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop
editHello Burnley, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|ToadetteEdit}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
