I am a former writer and editor for the electronic music magazine Grooves and have completed studies in a biotechnology graduate program at the University of Pennsylvania. I also produced and released electronic music locally within the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area for art installations and one-off performances.
Presently, I live in the Magnolia district of Seattle, Washington, working as a software developer for a genomic sciences research lab with the University of Washington. My current interests include programming, statistics and informatics, with a particular focus on visualizing data in ways that try to echo Edward Tufte's clean, efficient design principles.
