Opson (operation) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Opson (operation), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:15, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: That is what I said in the page's talk page and the edit when I split it from the Opson page where it had been tagged. I have no interest in working on the draft so if you want you can delete it.--Akrasia25 (talk) 16:05, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

Automobile Museums Suggestion
Hi Akrasia. I made seven very long distance phone calls to the museum in Cleveland Ohio and afterwards wrote you a long report about it. Then I thought it probably won't change anything and threw it away. The first call was answered by an operator Dee-Anna who listened carefully and put me through to an extension where the voicemail box was full and would accept no more messages. I went back to Dee-Anna and she gave me another extension which wanted me to leave a message. I am sure no-one would bother to write down and re-dial 14 digits (and get them correct) in response to my message. After that Dee-anna got involved in something else and didn't answer and I tried all the various extensions she had suggested all with the same 'leave a message' response. You might understand the language and Dee-Anna better than I do and have more success.
It really is nice to get these photos but they do have to be properly categorised which isn't difficult if you just look at the others that are already on file. Adding images to articles is different. Please be aware the photos displayed should be the best available and generally (after i.d. pictures) displayed to make a specific point. We are often reminded Wikipedia is not a photo gallery and on popular articles people can badly overload the text with images the they have just found. There are also standards for the pictures that are displayed. For some fights over photos have a look in the recent archives of Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Automobiles
You might have more luck with Dee-Anna than I did. 'bye, 23:48, 29 January 2020 (UTC) = User Eddaido
- I get it. I am more focused on Chalmers Motors right now and see the mismatch of poor photos and old useless ads. I look forward to the time that I can take down some of those images and replace them with better ones. Thanks for your efforts. The Crawford seem to be a good size museum with a small volunteer base. Their own Wikipedia page was embarrassing so I am not surprised that you did not get a response. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mercedes-Benz 300 SL; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Andy Dingley (talk) 02:23, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
National varieties of English
Hello. In a recent edit to the page Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. If you want to change this, you need to begin by giving good reason to via Talk: Andy Dingley (talk) 02:18, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Lets take this to the talk page of the article. I honestly don's care being Canadian but these cars were mostly sold in the US.--Akrasia25 (talk) 02:20, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- It's a German car. Claiming WP:TIES is going to take a lot more than "America has more money". Andy Dingley (talk) 02:24, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Fine, like I said, I really don't care about forms of spelling versions. Please go ahead and change the rest of the spelling to match British English. I only want to make the article spelling consistent so it is not jarring.--Akrasia25 (talk) 02:27, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
