Ricardo Pereira (footballer) → Ricardo Pereira (footballer, born 1993) – Not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of footballers called Ricardo Pereira. The Portugal goalkeeper of the 2000s, Ricardo (footballer, born 1976), is also surnamed Pereira. The player born 1976 was primarily known as "Ricardo", but so is the one born in 1993 as well. Sources referring to Ricardo 1976 with his surname are mostly since his retirement or in Portuguese, but I think there's enough reasonable probability that someone searching for "Ricardo Pereira (footballer)" is looking for the 1976 player, a prominent international. - Support per WP:PDAB I don't think the modifications in titles are sufficient to allow partial artificial disambiguation. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:04, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. I disagree - that's just an assumption. Unreal7 (talk)
- Can you qualify that statement please? Can you show me evidence that the 1976 footballer Ricardo is not known as Ricardo Pereira (his actual name?) and that you've done some level of research into your judgement instead of a gut reaction? Unbelievable. [1] [2] [3] [4] Harambe Walks (talk) 18:36, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
- Support move per nom. It seems obvious that this man isn't the primary topic. ONR (talk) 06:40, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
