Shuttle Bus to LCA
editDoes the shuttle bus as mentioned in the intro still run? As acording to the London City Airport article it no longer does. Could someone clarify it? -- Jt spratt 11:05, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
Manager and Owner
editI don't get it. How come London Underground manages and owns the station, when the Docklands Light Railway was opened to here before the London Underground was? 195.112.48.218 (talk) 15:40, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Extra Shuttle for Excel Exhibitions
editExperience as a regular user of Custm House for Excel says that the extras for Ecxel can run as often as every 6-7 minutes. Can anyone source a fact either way? WillE (talk) 21:58, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Short journeys into Canning Town
editNoticed the other day (when the whole system went skablooey) that shorts ran into CT westbound platform from Beckton, then reversed out using points just short of the crossover. Usual thing with my observational original research- if any one can find a citation, please update... WillE (talk) 11:40, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- That's not unusual - IIRC most stations were built to have crossovers to allow as much of a service as possible to run during problems/engineering works. I believe there have also been some shuttle services to and from at least one of the Royal Docks branches that start/terminate at Canning Town. Timrollpickering (talk) 11:04, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Opening date
editIn the text it opened 1846, but the infobox gives 14 June 1847 - which is the correct date? Jackiespeel (talk) 22:34, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- I fixed it all to 14 June 1847 because that's the date in Butt. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:15, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks - and if you want to improve the train entries on London Wiki (on Wikia) feel free (there are also railway and London Transport Wikia wikis in need of looking after). Jackiespeel (talk) 10:41, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- I don't go to Wikia. Too much advertising. --Redrose64 (talk) 11:42, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Sometimes useful to have somewhere to put OR. Jackiespeel (talk) 16:37, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
Peak service to Beckton
editThe article says that the peak service interval is 8 minutes on the Beckton line but this is worse than the quoted off-peak interval of 5 minutes. This doesn't seem right and no reference is given. 82.132.233.64 (talk) 17:05, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

Opening dates
editThis article is very unsure on when the DLR actually opened. I know a station was planned here before the Jubilee line extension, but did it actually ever open? When did the DLR bit of the station open? March 1994? 6 March 1998? "The DLR station opened on 28 March 1994,[citation needed] but was closed between 6 June 1996 and 5 March 1998 for the construction of the Jubilee line extension. The Jubilee line station opened on 14 May 1999." Turini2 (talk) 14:28, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
- Found some citations for this at last after much looking - Beckton extension ran through the station site without opening from 1994, the NLL station opened in 1995, DLR in 1998, JLE in 1999. Phew! Turini2 (talk) 16:22, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
