Hey! So I've had my talk page temporarily protected until Friday, however until then I need a notice on the top of my page telling people that aren't autoconfirmed to use my alternate talk page instead. I know you're familiar with JavaScript which is why I'm asking if you could create said notice for me. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:01, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
Yeah no problem give me a bit to make it. SkyTheWolf (Talk) 13:03, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- Alright thank you! I think I previously did this with just like a bolded string of text with a link but I think an actual notice would be more obvious. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:07, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

Question from Trisanator (14:09, 16 November 2022)
How do I create an article --Trisanator (talk) 14:09, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, Trisanator! Your mentor, SkyWolf369, does not seem to have edited in a while, so I'll try to answer the question for you.
- Creating an encyclopedia article is very difficult on Wikipedia, especially for newcomers, because there are a lot of policies that have to be followed. Wikipedia articles have to be about notable subjects (subjects that have received significant coverage in multiple reliable sources), have to be verifiable (the information in the article should be traceable to its sources), and should be written in a neutral point of view (neither try to look the subject look good nor bad, but simply report facts as indicated by the sources). Because there's a lot that goes into creating an article, it's recommended newcomers start with other contributions and get a better handle on how the encyclopedia works prior to creating one (you can find some editing suggestions on your homepage). If you still would like to create an article, you should keep the three policies I linked you to earlier (notability, verifiability, and neutrality/neutral point of view) in mind and read this page, which guides you through creating an article.
- Let me know if you have any more questions! I'll keep an eye on this page, and you can also ask me on my talk page, or at the Teahouse, where many experienced editors provide help to newcomers. Happy editing! Perfect4th (talk) 07:34, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

Hello How do I create an article? --NerDF0rH0rr0r (talk) 20:58, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, NerDF0rH0rr0r! Your mentor, SkyWolf369, does not seem to have edited in a while, so I'll try to answer the question for you.
- It's not easy to create an article on Wikipedia, especially for newcomers, because there are a lot of policies to follow. Hello, I recently made a Wikipedia account and would like to start editing. What are some things I should know about editing Wikipedia articles before I get started? --TheJadedWriter (talk) 15:37, 20 November 2022 (UTC)

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any more questions! Question from Nyenuwo (19:52, 20 November 2022)
Hello, What is anti Vandalism, teach me --Nyenuwo (talk) 19:52, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, Nyenuwo! Your mentor, SkyWolf369, does not seem to have edited in a while, so I'll try to answer your question. Anti-vandalism is stuff done to prevent or stop vandalism, or edits intended to be a detriment to the encyclopedia. Are you asking how to work in anti-vandalism? It's important to have an idea of Wikipedia's policies first, but once you have a good enough understanding you can enroll in the Counter-Vandalism Unit Academy (they have a benchmark requirement of 200 mainspace edits first as an indication of understanding policies) to learn how.
- Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any more questions! I'll keep an eye on this page, and you can also ask me on my talk page, or at the Teahouse, where many experienced editors provide help to newcomers. Happy editing! Perfect4th (talk) 07:47, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

- I'm afraid long wait times are typical, as there are more than 2700 drafts waiting in the queue and they aren't reviewed in any particular order – looks like a 3+ month wait is normal based on the number of drafts there are right now. I'm not a draft reviewer and I didn't have time to look very closely right now, but I see you've added references since the draft was declined for lack of sufficient references (you'll want to make sure your references fit the requirements listed there, such as in-depth, reliable, secondary, and independent). That's a good start; also make sure you are following copyright rules.
- Let me know if you have any more questions! I'll keep an eye on this page, and you can also ask me on my talk page, or at the Teahouse, where many experienced editors provide help to newcomers. Happy editing! Perfect4th (talk) 07:35, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Academy/Instructors
Hi SkyWolf369, Good day and thank you for interested in being a trainer at CVUA.I am one of the CUVA trainer in English Wikipedia and I have reverted your edit on that page for the reason that you have only 369 total main space edits, which does not demonstrate you have enough edits and vandalism edits to understand the dept. and breath of counter vandalism let alone to be a CVUA trainer. All of the CVUA trainers have gone through the CVUA program under another experienced CUVA trainer. I became a trainer after I have more than 30K main space edits and have about 15K counter vandalism edits after I have graduated from CVUA program when I have about 4K total main space edits. To be qualify for a participant in CVUA, the editor needs to have at least 200 main space edits. I suggest if you are interested in counter vandalism, pls participate in the CUVA program yourself first (it takes about 2-3 months) and after your CVUA graduation and accumulate another 5K counter vandalism edits prior to became a trainer for you would have some basic understanding what counter vandalism work entails. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 22:38, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

Question from CulturalPhilistine (20:01, 28 February 2023)
Hello there, I am currently new to Wikipedia. Although I did know it for years, this is my new first ever page. I just have some questions about a few of the tactics here such as our 'sandboxes,' I am looking forward to a reply! - CulturalPhilistine. --CulturalPhilistine (talk) 20:01, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
Just ignore them...
and let them scream into the void. That's the most effective thing to do if they're not being too disruptive. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 14:51, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

Signature
Figured I"d tell you this here instead of on Ingenuity's talk page, however since you've stated you aren't all that familiar with CSS and more so Javascript (i'm quite jealous of this fact) I'd be willing to improve your signature for you if you want it to look any different. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:41, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf Is it possible for you to make it a gradient? SkyTheWolf (Talk) 17:02, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- You're the second person that has asked that for me. Technically I could by making each letter a different individual color, however I would quickly run out of characters to use. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:05, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf Surprise me then. SkyTheWolf (Talk) 17:20, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'd love to however uh... I'm not exactly the creative type. If you tell me what you want it to look like relatively then I can make it look like that (Hopefully) ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:22, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf I figured out how to do a gradient actually.
- SkyTheWolf (Talk)
- Might change the colors around a bit but I think it is allowed by the guidelines. Please let me know if it isnt. SkyTheWolf (Talk) 18:12, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- I don't actually know if that is allowed. I've never seen anyone use "-webkit" before. I would as at WP:VPT as they would know what the answer is. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:18, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- Since a way to create your signautre without using the "-webkit" was shown using "linear-gradient" I could probably create one with the colors you want using the gradient. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:59, 7 March 2023 (UTC)

Question from Luh Majo (11:01, 13 March 2023)
Hello --Luh Majo (talk) 11:01, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
Area of Extremadura
Okay so, there was initially no decimal in the area section (said it was 41,634 km2 before), but in October 27th of 2022, the unthinkable happened. A decimal appeared (now it says 41,634.16 km2). The edit was made by that one Argentinian Wikipedia user by the name of Locked Empire. I don't know why he edited it or how, but i know that Wikipedia traditions doesn't allow to change the area section to something unsourced, especially when adding a decimal. So, the decimal that has been added is downright pointless, and i can't see a source of this change at all. Can you revert this edit and send a message to him in the Locked Empire talk page that he made an unsourced change? Thank you. 2601:280:4F81:4490:D9E8:37CF:D62:BC68 (talk) 00:23, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
