Hello, Oltnilhn. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

IP block exempt

edit

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption.

Oğuz Yılmaz (footballer) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Oğuz Yılmaz (footballer), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Anadolu Efes 40th anniversary logo.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Anadolu Efes 40th anniversary logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Oğuz Yılmaz (footballer)

edit

Hello, Oltnilhn. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Oğuz Yılmaz".

If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Bozkurt District

edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Bozkurt District requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Adding the huge amount of spaces and referees other than main referee is useless and violates NOTSTATS.--Sakiv (talk) 19:14, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Since when is it considered "useless"? It was that way for the previous seasons for some years. Huge number of spaces has nothing to do with vandalism. It's just making it easier to edit the boxes on the edit page by giving a better and neater look. There are plenty of pages where it's used like that. --Oltnilhn (talk) 19:27, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Then it should be fixed to match with contemporary MOS and policies. Spaces does not make any difference so it is not helpful. Please focus on updating the content not on the aesthetics.--Sakiv (talk) 19:30, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Disruptive editing is not necessarily vandalism. See WP:NOTVANDALISM. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:10, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor

edit

Hello, Oltnilhn,

Thank you for creating Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references to satisfy notability for sport. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the article may not be suitable for inclusion.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from tr.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 23:02, 6 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fenerbahçe S.K. (football)

edit

Dear Oltnilhn, for about three and a half years, I have seen that many pages on Wikipedia, such as the Fenerbahçe S.K. (football) page, the Turkish football clubs and league, etc., lack content and have information inaccuracies etc. compared to their international counterparts. Because of this situation, I joined Wikipedia and tried to show the necessary dedication to eliminate these deficiencies. Fenerbahçe S.K. (football) page, which I have edited to make it equivalent in terms of content to other major football clubs in Europe and the world. After these three and a half years, I have decided to quit as a Wikipedia author because I may be short of time due to my personal work. I would like to ask you to support this page again as you have done before, and I hope you will continue to write better content for the readers. Thank you. Dear Fatih,
Thank you for your message. I'm also unfortunately unable to contribute to wikipedia as much as i used to due to my personal works. However i strive to keep the pages of Turkish sports leagues and clubs as up-to-date as possible.
Thank you for the valuable contributions you have made so far and i hope to see you actively contributing again in the future. Regards Oltnilhn (talk) 06:27, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
