Bell Bottom moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Bell Bottom, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. "Sacnilk" and other garbage references

edit

I can tell that you haven't yet read our guidelines on reliable sources despite the number of links on your talk page pointing you to them. Short story: Don't just find random websites that publish numbers that make you feel good about whatever movie you're a fan of. Stick to mainstream known sources like major newspapers and major magazines or other sites with estasblished reputations for fact-checking and accuracy. I don't know what you think "sacnilk.com" is[2] but it is none of these things. Anybody can start a website and publish whatever content they want. That does NOT mean that the content is suitable for inclusion in a global encyclopedia. We don't care what faceless blogs and websites claim. If you can't identify quality sources, stick to the ones you find at WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:09, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Removing year and award columns

edit

Hey, I've noticed that you are removing the year and award column in articles like Vijay Deverakonda and many other articles. It's unclear what your rationale is or what example you are following as you haven't explained any of your edits. Year typically comes first which can be linked to the ceremony. The next column is the award itself and the category and so on. I recommend you to look at some of featured list awards and nominations to know the community standards. Thanks --Ab207 (talk) 05:43, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

AKA overload

edit

Please avoid unnecessarily adding "aka" over and over as you did here. This is sloppy and unprofessional. A better approach is to use full sentences to explain why there are two names listed, since we write articles for people who are not familiar with a series. Note also that in normal English prose, nicknames go inside of a person's full name like Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson or Michael "Iron Mike" Tyson. That might not be appropriate here, but you should know this. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:20, 29 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Simple Agi Innondh Love Story

edit

Hello, Needforname. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Simple Agi Innondh Love Story".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
