John Snow (public house)
- ... that the John Snow pub (pictured) in Soho is named for a shy, teetotal British epidemiologist? Source: ... irony is that it seems that Snow, a shy and quiet English gentleman, was strictly teetotal.[1]
- ALT1: ... that the water pump outside the John Snow in Soho has no handle?

Still have some work to do here. Image can be changed.

- I loved this article. There are so many fun bits scattered around it, and it is very pleasantly illustrated. It is what I would expect from an article about a pub. All is perfectly sourced too. The article was nominated just in time and is not only long enough but also appears to be quite comprehensive. I only wonder if the article John Snow Society could be included in this nomination in a double hook - or even triple, if the biography John Snow could be promoted to GA (it looks like it's already at that level of quality). I think that would make it a big success. Surtsicna (talk) 08:25, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you @Surtsicna:...that's very kind. I'll have a think or do a separate dyk nom for John Snow Society. Whispyhistory (talk) 08:37, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
