- Please remember to provide us with a QPQ. Thanks, Poeticbent talk 20:28, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- Not a full review, but two terms stick out as overly technical or obscure - "Relic valleys" and "sylvopastoral", a more common description should be used. The Interior (Talk) 23:51, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

- Review New enough. Long enough. Plagiarism checker is clean. No close paraphrasing. I think the hook should read ". . . that part of central Senegal is Ferlo Desert?" I also think that the article should have a little more about the diagnosis, etiology and prognosis of the use of water, floral and faunal resources — the effect of the bore holes was genuinely interesting — which is discussed in some of the sources. But that is no reason to reject the DYK. QPQ was done, even though none was required, since it was not a self nomination. As to off line sources, given author's prior work I would WP:AGF. Sourcing clearly and amply supports hook. My other concern is that this hook is dryly (pun intended) informative, and not very hooky. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 21:47, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that the Ferlo Desert occupies one-third of Senegal's total area? --Rosiestep (talk) 22:46, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- I like ALT1. QPQ was taken care of. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 02:29, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
