My user name does not ping in the usual way, because of the equal sign "=", I am told. I thought it was ampersand "&", but am informed that wasn't true.^[1]
However, I am a Luddite, and my WP:User name has served me well for a decade and a half; so I am not about to change. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Keep your perspective

I strongly believe that the "the truth is paywalled but the lies are free".^[3] This is why Wikipedia is important!
I witnessed a war of words over WP:Infoboxes.^[4]

As Rodney King famously said, "Can't we all get along."
In the end, an infobox here and not an infobox there is not the end of wikipedia. And it is not worth fighting over.

FWIW, it applies not only to eggs, but to toilet paper I am certain that it is supposed to go over the top, like a waterfall.^[5]

I just wanted to make an observation", and "The core of what I set out to criticize is just the notion that any random patient stranger should feel entitled to as much of someone’s attention as they want".^[8]
