The article notes: "And then there’s the food: Excalibur has been the No. 1 purchaser of Cornish game hens in the United States for years thanks to the traditional Tournament of Kings feast. Since June 1990, approximately 6.7 million little chickens have been served."
The article notes: "The show changed to “Tournament of Kings” in 1999, still with live jousting from actors mounted on horses, and serves dinners of the above-mentioned fowl. Among Strip production shows still running, only “Legends in Concert” (1983) and “Crazy Girls” (1987) predate “ToK.”"
The article notes: "So goes the “Tournament of Kings” tankard-clanking song, which also sums up the general level of complexity as well as long-held public opinion of the Excalibur’s knightly horse show. ... Remember, too, it’s the only Vegas show with horses and the rare one with dinner; 20 years of trying to figure out how to get to the white meat on a Cornish hen without utensils."
The article notes: "Falling from the horse, which the knights do after they have been "speared" by an opponent’s lance during a joust, is probably the most physically demanding."
New enough, long enough, no obvious issues with the article. QPQ done. ALT0 checks out and is, in my view, an excellent hook: I have amended to United States's to fit MOS:POSSESSIVE. No obvious issues with the article to preclude promotion - nice work. UndercoverClassicistT·C17:27, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
