This GA review is unfortunately going to be a quickfail, as the article is a long way from meeting several GA criteria. The main problems are the use of unreliable sources, uncited material, and a generally promotional tone. Let's take a look at the first section, paragraph by paragraph (citation numbers refer to this version).
- First paragraph: mostly uncited. The only citation, which claims to verify "The Murusade are an integral part of the Karanle", is largely inaccessible, shows no sign of verifying the claim, and, being a PDF of uncertain origin on a random hosting website, is not a reliable source.
- Second paragraph: uncited, promotional, confusing sentence at end. Citation 8 does not verify "holds significant importance as one of the most prominent sub-clans. It is noteworthy". Citation 9 does not verify "share close kinship ties with other Samaale clans".
- Third paragraph: first sentence cites a 130-year old source for a claim in the present tense ("is also revered") which is obviously inappropriate. This source is in Italian, and needs a quote per WP:RSUEQ.
- Fourth paragraph: ends with an uncited, promotional sentence. The paragraph editorialises unnecessarily ("interestingly", "it is worth mentioning that") Citation 14, hosted on a WP:SPS website, shows no signs of being reliable, and supports material that needs to be clearly presented as a folktale.
- Fifth paragraph: highly promotional (there are three separate mentions of El-Buur district being historically important). Citation 15, an 81-page document, needs a page number, and doesn't appear to verify the claim. Citation 16 does not support "Their influence has been extensive in moulding the historical, political, and economic development of these regions. Of particular significance is their predominant position". I have corrected citation 18's incorrect formatting, but it needs a page number.
- Sixth paragraph: uncited, promotional sentence at end. Citation 19 mentions the Habar Gidir clan along with the Abgaal, but the article chooses to omit them. Citation 20 is an unreliable blog. Citation 21 verifies almost none of the material it claims to support.
- Seventh paragraph: highly promotional.
Thus, the article is far, far below GA standards, and is almost start-class in its current form. It needs significant improvement to get anywhere near GA status. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 12:01, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
