edit@Lihaas: The event location is in New York City, so I added "September 2017 events in the United States". I'm not aware of Wikipedia category guidelines regarding international zones, but the Headquarters of the United Nations article states that it is "in the United States". The category "September 2017 events" could also be added to denote the international nature of this debate. FallingGravity 16:51, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hmm, that's technically wrong, but no issues. Thans for the mention here.Lihaas (talk) 01:48, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- How is it technically wrong? Events that happen in international airports (which are also international zones) are treated as if they happen in a certain country. FallingGravity 03:15, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- While still technically wrong, everyone trusts local forces to do it. Cant have intervention all over. Even the Nicole Kidman movie (forget now) said its technically international when Sean Penn walked in. but anyhoo, ive no opposition.Lihaas (talk) 06:58, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

I came to the talk page to ask why Category:September 2017 events was included when the U.S. category is also present. Seems strange. I get the "international nature of this debate", but the event physically took place within the U.S. ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:29, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I don't have any objections if you remove the Category:September 2017 events, it was supposed to be some kind of compromise, and I don't believe the film The Interpreter is a reliable source. FallingGravity 20:28, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Tables?
editThoughts on changing the schedule to a table?
It looks more readable to me. sikander (talk) 22:18, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- Its being going good for 5+ years...hard to change it al (ie effort)...but IFF consensus prevails, im game.Lihaas (talk) 05:18, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- Going back to change previous years would be time consuming and not worth the effort. But going forward we can use this layout. I can start changing after the Assembly is over, unless there are objections. sikander (talk) 18:47, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- I would suggest titles on each section/Lihaas (talk) 01:01, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
- Country/Agency? / Person / Notes... or something else? sikander (talk) 02:05, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Country , speakr, notes...should be good but Holy See, Palestine, EU are not recognized as member states.Lihaas (talk) 02:13, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Also feel free to start the process Sunday. Ive updated the lat speakers and can then add if there are any changes.Lihaas (talk) 02:17, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
