Boeing 787 battery problems
editI do not think that the Boeing 787 battery problems should be treated here. I could find no reliable source that Yuasa is responsible for the problem. There is no treatment of the battery problem at Thales that selected Yuasa batteries and is responsible for the battery electrical control system. They may be more responsible than Yuasa. I propose to remove it. Andries (talk) 07:46, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
Shichizaemon Yuasa
editThere's a fair amount of information on the Web about Genzo Shimadzu, but comparatively little about Shichizaemon Yuasa. I guess he must have existed because there's a photograph of him. Supposedly he started running the family business in 1872[1] and he started researching batteries in a home laboratory[2] in 1913[3]. This would put him close to retirement age by the time he got into batteries. There seems to be a biography in Japanese[4] of someone by that name who lived from 1877 to 1943, maybe the same person, maybe not. I also wonder if "Shichizaemon" might be a translation error? Could it actually be "shinichi san-byaku nen", meaning something like "three hundred and seven years"? But the business was 206 years old, not 307, when they started using that name. 99.122.168.208 (talk) 23:04, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

"HV" = Hybrid Vehicle ?
editArticle uses the term "HVs" presumably as an acronymn for "Hybrid Vehicles". I don't believe this is a sufficiently common accronym to use without introduction anywhere in the article. 86.2.132.201 (talk) 18:31, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
