Kia ora, I have tried repeatedly to get the link classifier gadget to work, but with no success. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Could you please have a look at the file: User:Marshelec/common.js. Can you see anything wrong ? What else can I try ? I see that I don't have a page User:Marshelec/common.css. Does that matter ? What does it do anyway ?. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Marshelec (talk) 21:46, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Oops, looks like it is now working. I think that whatever I tried previously for bypassing the cache didn't work, but cntl-F5 seems to have fixed it. It is working now. Sorry to trouble you.Marshelec (talk) 21:50, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
No problems. I'm pleased it's working for you now. Oronsay (talk) 23:35, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Australian cricket team in England in 1890

edit

I don't know what your game is, but the 1890 Australians did not play some postponed Third Test at Manchester from 18-20 September 1890. Test match status is reserved to specific matches. The match mentioned was not a Test match. It was between 'An England XI' and the Australians. The fact that George Ulyett, a professional, captained the side speaks volumes. This match was not a Test match. FieldOfWheat (talk) 20:18, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Draft:DiJones_Real_Estate

edit

I am wondering if you can help me understand the deletion process? I have tried to submit this article again with much better news references (The Australian, Sydney Morning Hearld, Daily Telegraph) as well as industry websites like domain.com.au. I think that the article is important because it recognises the pioneering work of Di Jones (the person) and the company is effectively the legacy that Australians can see. I think it is importent for people who are encountering the company/brand to know about the history. I had no problem at all with my similar work on LJ Hooker, the man and the company when I worked on those articles. I don't want to specifically raise the issue of misogyny but it appears that the article has been rejected out of hand by UK editor Scope_creep who simply says "Real estate companies aren't notable' and rejects the article on the basis that the citations aren't good enough. I think that I have incorporated the requirements of TSventon Can you please suggest what I need to do before re-submitting the article? PinkAechFas (talk) 01:57, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article is using the references for the women for the a company article and that doesn't cut it. Private real estate companies are not notable unless very well know or about long enough that they they have significance beyond there own existance, but that is not shown here. Your using this women, her notabilty to push this private company which is unacceptable referencing. It fails WP:NCORP. Also notability is not inherited so why are doing that. Lastly it reads like an promotional advert failing WP:PROMO and it not acceptable either. Wikipedia is not an advertising platform. That article is a mess. scope_creepTalk 07:50, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

For keeping an eagle eye on Humaniki and regularly updating key statistics on the main Women in Red page.--Ipigott (talk) 13:50, 22 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you kindly, @Ipigott. As a matter of fact, I am talking about WiR statistics and Humaniki later today in Adelaide. Also, when the time comes, I will start reporting them as 19.99x, instead of rounding to two decimals, as they move towards 20%.

Sorry, I did make changes to the biomechanicist editors Talk pages when I realised that I'd welcomed them all as !1day! I should have thought more about it beforehand, and perhaps undone my Twinkle add and then redone it. They seem ok though. Let me know if I need to fix anything. Pages about women

edit

Hi. I just discovered you after your edit to the page I wrote on Emily Belle Freeman. I think it's really cool that you focus on writing articles about women.

I just wrote another article about a woman since the prior article about her was deleted six years ago, allegedly due to not being notable. I put almost 30 sources on the new article to establish her notability. I'd be interested in any feedback you have about the article: Margaret D. Nadauld.

Kind regards, Davemc0 (talk) 02:52, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Could you please help me avoid deletion of this woman's article?

edit

Could I please get your help? Someone has nominated the article Margaret D. Nadauld for deletion, claiming that Nadauld is not notable. It was the same person who did it 8 years ago. I'd appreciate if you could support keeping it. See the talk page on that article for my arguments why she's notable, or peruse the article's 25+ references yourself. Personally, I believe the person who proposed deletion deserves a trout for claiming that she's not notable, given the contents of those sources. Davemc0 (talk) 16:42, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
