Flags
As regards A.C. Milan, it is pointless to add flags when the list are made by nationality.--BaldClarke 23:52, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- You're right. However, I realized that it's useless dividing notable players by nationality, so I put them all together (hence leaving the italian flags). – Luxic 19:21, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- It might be useless for you, but it is common, across similar articles, to use this division, which, furthermore, removes the need to put flags everywhere.--BaldClarke 21:02, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I see your point (and I wouldn't like to argue anyway), so I left the divison, but I re-added the players you had removed by reverting my edit. I also removed the dots in order to reduce the width of the columns. – Luxic 13:24, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Translation Please
Hey Luxic - I was wondering if you could translated this movie from your native Italian to English, please. Thanks for you time in reading this messege, I look forward to hearing from you. [1]. Also, I must warn you that it's a video of graphic content and if I did speak Italian, I would've translated it myself but I can't :-(. Anyway, as I said before, I look forward to hearing from you ;-).--Skully Collins 13:40, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, here you are the traslation of the video:
«23rd lap: Renzo Zorzi's Shadow stopped due to the beginning of a fire. Two eighteen-year-old boys, whom the stewards had made act as marshals - he means they were not trained, just volunteers -, crossed the track; one of them, Jansen van Vuuren, was run over by the other Shadow, Tom Pryce's one. The extinguisher that the guy was carrying, hit Pryce in the face, killing him instantly.»
«The encircled car is Tom Pryce's one: it was being driven by a dead man. The car coverd 500 meters, skidded into the guard rail, cut Lafitte off and crashed.»
I hope it's clear. I tried to translate it literally. If you don't understand somenting, ask me. Bye. – Luxic 14:30, 29 September 2006 (UTC)- Thank you very much!--Skully Collins 14:42, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Please take a look...
Hi! I'm Italian too! Just wanna let you know that this page exists and you can contribute if you think. I've seen you're a football fan (A.C. Milan I think... just like me!) so, maybe, you're interested on this page. Your contribution will be very appreciated, but please read the intro carefully before editing! Thanks. --necronudist 19:57, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- Se siamo tutti e due italiani... perchè mi parli in inglese? LOL Comunque grazie della segnalazione, vedo che è la pagina già ben documentata, ma cercherò di fare del mio meglio per ampliarla. Ciao. – Luxic 12:21, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Wikiproject:Italian Football
Hi ya. I see you add to Italian Football articles from time to time. Just wondering if you want to check out Wikipedia:Italian Football. We are just hoping to organise our efforts towards improving articles better. If you want to sign up just put your name down under participants on the project. You can do as much or as little work as you like and any ideas on improving pages would be great. Niall123 19:23, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Bernie
Hi. I just want to talk about the former driver infobox. I just don't think it "feels" right. Ecclestone's role as a driver is an important part of his life but yet small compared to his management roles. However the infobox by its very nature suggests major importance. However if you said its a former driver box and he's a former driver I can't argue with that logic. Any thoughts? Mark83 17:27, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, Ecclestone's career as a driver was something ridiculous, but I'd leave the infobox anyway, because a lot of drivers that raced only once or twice in F1, have an infobox (e.g. Vincenzo Sospiri, Stephane Sarrazin, Yuji Ide). Besides there's still no specific infobox for F1 personalities. – Luxic 18:35, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, fair enough. Mark83 19:11, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
AC Milan Players
Well it says Notable players. Eventhought they didn't play a lot of matches, a lot of them gained fame from playing at Milan. Davids for instance played a whole season at Milan. Vieira is famous for flopping at Milan and being flogged to Arsenal for only 3.5m. Ayala played 2 seasons at Milan with 24 league appearances. Jimmy Greaves is fairly famous for having played at Milan. I agree that Ziege is prob a bit dodgy in the list, but he is still a notable player. I see what you are saying though. Hey its up to you. This whole notable players area needs to be discuessed though to come up with a valid definition of what is a notable player. I'm also basing this on the fact that every other club article seems to have just about every player thrown in. Niall123 19:12, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- Luxic, looking through the WikiProject Football page I noticed this rule applying to youth players: "If they've played any top league level games then they are notable". I'm guessing that this means the same for senior players in that if they have played a senior game for the club and if they are a notable player in their own right, then they are a notable player for that club. On a different matter, I note that the AC Milan article didn't make Featured Article status. I'm willing to put in work to get it to this level. A big cleanup is needed, including creating sub articles. What should be done is to have a template at like at the bottom of the Arsenal article where you have a number of sub articles for former players, stadium, history etc. I personally would like a total list of AC Milan players like in the Arsenal article. I'd also like to see a seperate "Records" sub article like in the arsenal article. Wouldn't mind see a lot of these lists being put into wikitable format either. Niall123 18:17, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Here's the template I made up. Maybe we should start working off this one? Template:A.C. Milan
Serie A Rounds
Cheers for the help with the Serie A results. I see you saw my call for help. I will prob be able to do the results this weekend but there's always a change I mightn't. Niall123 18:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Serie A deletion
You better have a look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/La Liga 2006/2007 results December 2006. Basically a non footballing wikipedian has nominated the detailed results sections of Serie A and La Liga for deletion. I'm personally totally against them being deleted. I've voted to keep the pages and I just thought I'd highlight this as you might want to vote either way on this. Thanks Niall123 18:38, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
AC Milan
Non l'ho fatto apposta, è solo un revert sbagliato del vandalismo che aveva preceduto il tuo contributo. Chiedo scusa. --Angelo 10:16, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
Any chance of backing up on this. Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#Vandalism_on_AC_Milan_article This guy has a major axe to grind. Niall123 08:19, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Champions Youth Cup 2007
I hope you understand why I removed the Man Utd badge from that article now. The logo can only be used on Wikipedia when its use is justified by a fair use rationale, and since it was only being used as a decoration on the aforementioned article, it had to be removed. - PeeJay 09:10, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Supercoppa di Lega Serie C1
Can we change the primary name of "Super Coppa di Lega Serie C1" to "Supercoppa di Lega Serie C1"?, not just redirect page, use real Italian name like Supercoppa Italiana. I have edited "Supercoppa di Lega Serie C2" and "Supercoppa Primavera" already but I can't edit this page. Could you help me to change this? - Tontotti (talk) 05:36, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Matteo Bruscagin, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 14:59, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
A.C. Milan
Per queste ragioni secondo me in quello spazio andrebbe lasciato Milan. Capisci?
Ciao--Blocci (talk) 16:28, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
