Welcome!
editHello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Singapore national cricket team does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Peaceray (talk) 16:53, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Peaceray (talk) 18:03, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Template:Rising Pune Supergiant, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Template colour changes
editPlease can you discuss colour changes in templates before doing them? They're already being discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Template colours, and people shouldn't be unilaterally changing hundreds of templates (which affects thousands of articles). - I came here to say the same thing. Nehme1499 13:05, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Joseph2302: @Nehme1499: Just so you guys know, this is a long term disruptive and block evading IP from Bangladesh and this has been going on for years at this point, from what I can see they don't interact at all other than changing colors and some minor edits. They're currently active as 203.95.223.254 but I've opened a sock investigation. But if you see a Bangladeshi IP making these changes en masse (often on the same articles, restoring their edits if reverted) it is almost certainly this individual who shouldn't be editing at all because they've been blocked for years. --TylerBurden (talk) 05:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
