Correcting my edit summary

edit

I initially reverted the addition of the critical comment by Iqbal because it was in the wrong place, and I was going to move it to where it belongs. Then I noticed that the comment was already in the article. So all that was necessary was reverting the pointless edit. NightHeron (talk) 12:33, 15 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

There are extremely few citations in the opening of the article.

There is an insufficient number of citations in the beginning. 2001:56A:7789:5500:5AF:F24A:89E8:CF52 (talk) 23:39, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Per MOS:LEADCITE: "Because the lead usually repeats information that is in the body, editors should balance the desire to avoid redundant citations in the lead with the desire to aid readers in locating sources for challengeable material." It is customary on Wikipedia to keep the number of the citations in the lead section to a minimum, particularly when the body of the article is extensively and reliably sourced and the content is sufficiently summarized in the lead, as is the case here. No need for redundancy. A. Randomdude0000 (talk) 00:57, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
