New Zealand's "first" boy band?
editHow could Titanium be New Zealand's "first" boy band when every other boy band listed in Category:New Zealand boy bands started before them? They don't even seem to be the first NZ boy band formed by The Edge radio station. At best, I suppose one could say that Titanium was described by promotional materials as NZ's first boy band. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:35, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- I have no idea what the promotion or contest was claiming. As Metropolitan90 pointed out, it's not even teh first boy band created by The Edge radio station; Boyband (band) might carry that distinction. Formed in 2006, they certainly predate Titanium. This article makes the case that the first NZ boy band is a group called the Purest Form from the 90's. -- Whpq (talk) 20:29, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
