Are the meanings to the colors really ever stated?

This article has been edited again to add explanations of the colors of the Cornettos (after I slyly removed one of them in my last edit). The only problem with this is that from the sources I can see, Pegg and Wright never state what the colors mean, and in fact the idea that the colors represent anything other than these 3 movies themselves is only backed up by the reference to the Three Colors series where the 3 colors do signify ideals. Can someone please find a reference where Pegg and Wright actually indicate that the red in the first represents blood or the blue in the second represents the service? Without this, I would have to say that stating the meaning of the colors is just speculation and shouldn't be stated as fact. In fact, I don't even see a statement attributed to Pegg or Wright that says even that the Three Colors link is fact, without this we aren't even sure the colors even have meanings. it doesn't need to be from someone involved with the movie to say it, any published source would work. looking at the citation for the third movie, I found a link to an article that does mention green for The World's End. as far as the meanings, I agree, adding our own interpretation is original research, no matter how obvious it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.156.208.3 (talk) 06:14, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

I created this page years ago, it got deleted and now its back! The blue colour was written in the DVDs factfile for hot fuzz and there was an interview where Edgar Wright joked that he would sell in the boxset with icecream. aliw136

Spaced removal

People attempting to exclude "Spaced" from the list are damaging the article because they're leaving in people with only one remaining credit. Also, the fact that actors from Spaced appeared in the trilogy is relevant to the article, because the films are essentially spinoffs of that sitcom. Serendi^podous 09:25, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Its called Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy not "Movies and tv shows by Simon Pegg. I did not leave anyone with only one credit because anyone that was not in more than one of the three movies would not be "recurring cast". There is absolutely no reason to add that info on this page, if you want to add that info so bad, just add it to the individual actors pages. Saying that the movies are essentially spin-offs is a ridiculous statement and WP:OR Gfyd (talk) 09:48, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Shaun of the Dead was inspired by an episode of Spaced in which Tim pretends to be playing Resident Evil in his apartment. The show has the same cast, the same producer, the same director, and the same writer. It is intimately connected with the trilogy and to say it isn't is just wilful ignorance.
