Improvements needed to the language

This is an interesting article, but the wording clearly needs tidying up. I've started doing that - so far, only in the lead - and will continue to do so, time permitting. Contributions from other editors would be welcome.

I've also removed the assertion that Wells's draft human rights declaration and the Sankey Declaration were "advisory works" for the 1947 UN Declaration. I can find nothing in the citations to support this. If any editor knows better, feel free to re-instate. Mike Marchmont (talk) 09:14, 13 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
