Image:Corgon liga.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The result of the move request was: moved. I see an argument for Slovak Super Liga, but I see more people calling for Slovak First Football League as the common name in English. (closed by non-admin page mover) Sennecaster (Chat) 23:20, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
Niké Liga → Slovak First Football League – No sponsorship names in article titles, thats a long-standing consensus, common English name is not "Nike Liga". For consistency, none of the other top-tier European leagues have a sponsorship name in the title, see Category:Top level football leagues in Europe Snowflake91 (talk) 17:43, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Alternatively, it could also be moved to Slovak Super Liga as this is the name that Soccerway and WorldFootball uses, but it should definitely not be "Nike Liga". Snowflake91 (talk) 17:48, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- nobody in the public both expert and general uses the term super liga Michael H 17:27, 5 July 2023 (UTC)

- Move to Slovak Super Liga which is original name before the recent undiscussed moves, and matches Category:Slovak Super Liga. I agree that sponsored names are NOT to be used. GiantSnowman 18:10, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- Honestly, this would be the worst solution. The "Niké liga" (and formerly "Fortuna liga") has been indeed used among fans, but I fully understand the consensus that sponsor names are not used. Therefore, I would suggest redirecting the article to the general name, as I also write in my reasoning, but nobody uses "Super Liga" and in reality this name has nothing to do with the competition. Penepi (talk) 11:22, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support First of all, the official name is "Niké liga" with a small "l". However, I suggest moving the article to Slovak First Football League, or potentially just Slovak First League - for example, according to the Czech model; at the same time, the second highest competition is called 2. Liga. "Super Liga" is an artificial name; nobody in Slovakia would call the competition that way. The general name is "1st/First league". Penepi (talk) 11:13, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support but with the name 1. Liga Michael H 18:13, 5 July 2023 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: not moved. Participants were not convinced that the proposed title would be an improvement. No prejudice against a future RM proposal for Slovak First League, which was suggested in the discussion but not commented upon by other participants. Slovak First Football League → 1. liga (Slovakia) – it is the official name (other than sponsor name) in slovak Michael H (talk) 18:26, 5 August 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. CLYDE TALK TO ME/STUFF DONE 20:52, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose as above, no sources presented and the nominator has been blocked for CIR. GiantSnowman 08:38, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
- The nominator has been blocked, but I think we should keep this open as there is a mess that needs sorting out. I'd support a move of this article to Slovak First League, which currently redirects here. (cf. Czech First League); "first league" is "1. liga" in English, and the inclusion of "football" seems to be superfluous. There's no other league to disambiguate from. Note that the string Slovak 1. Liga for some reason redirects to Slovenská hokejová liga, the second-tier ice hockey league, which should probably be fixed (there's no "1." in that league's name, at least not any more). – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 08:44, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
- Comment WP:Use English, what do English-language sources use? It doesn't really matter what it is in Slovak unless it doesn't appear much in English -- 67.70.25.80 (talk) 03:52, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
