Notable?
While this is one of the better youth soccer clubs in the country, should we be cataloging them on Wikipedia? 192.65.41.90 (talk) 23:34, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- I do not believe this is notable based on Wikipedia's general guidelines:
- "A topic is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
- Specifically, I don't believe this is *significant* coverage. The only sources I can find are:
- (Arizona Daily Star covering WPSL team) https://www.newspapers.com/article/arizona-daily-star-wpsl-san-diego-surf/138350996/
- (San Diego Union Tribune covering sexual harassment lawsuit) https://web.archive.org/web/20210726071220/https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/watchdog/story/2021-07-25/former-youth-coach-at-san-diego-surf-soccer-club-files-lawsuit-alleging-pervasive-sexual-harassment
- (Washington Post covering same lawsuit) https://web.archive.org/web/20221119022715/https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2022/11/18/ecnl-girls-soccer-male-coaches/
