SES-2
editCan someone create a page for SES-2? It launched on 21 September 2011, and is starting to enter service in October 2011. I don't have page creation rights. Googling should give you the basics to bootstrap the page: http://www.google.com/search?q=ses-2+satellite&hl=en&tbm=nws&source=lnt&tbs=qdr:w&sa=X

I'm also waiting for someone to create a page for SES-2. In the meantime, here's an interesting article on a Hosted Payload: http://www.spaceflightnow.com/news/n1111/04chirp/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.167.51.201 (talk) 03:20, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for creating the SES-2 and SES-3 pages! I've fleshed them out.
Capitalization
editI think this should be renamed SES New Skies (cf. DirecTV, for which the capitalization was in dispute). There is guidance on this at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (trademarks). —Fleminra 01:55, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Done. --Apoc2400 (talk) 10:47, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Rebranding as "SES"
editAt least since beginning of 2012, SES has engaged the whole company in the One SES program: all the subsidiaries are (will?) be regrouped into SES without distinction. Shouldn't the SES World Skies article then be merged with the SES S.A. article? 212.66.74.140 (talk) 11:34, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- No. Both this article and the SES article need to be updated to reflect the merger, however this is a valid historical article and should be kept around to provide information on the former part of the organisation. --W. D. Graham 11:27, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
