Semi-protect request

edit

Since Sunak will resign as Leader of the Conservative Party, I think its time we change the protection into semi-protection Richie1509 (talk) 21:38, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Guys, can someone please do semi-protection please? Richie1509 (talk) 06:53, 17 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Richie1509: - You'd be better off requesting this at Wikipedia:Requests for Page Protection. You are 900 times more likely to get a response there. MadGuy7023 (talk) 19:21, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK, thanks. But because I just want the protection to become semi, how do I do that? Richie1509 (talk) 11:18, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
The article is already extended-protected. — Czello (music) 11:21, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup lede

edit

Can we maybe change the lede a bit since he is not the party leader anymore, it probably wouldn't be so relevant that he was Leader of the Opposition for less than four months. By other former Prime Ministers we don't say he was the Prime Minister as well as Leader of the Opposition for a bit? Yeshivish613 (talk) 20:55, 9 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Response to the October 2024 budget

edit

His response to the budget was notable as his last speech as opposition leader and conservative leader. Can it be added to his post-premiership section? 51.7.13.182 (talk) 23:40, 27 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sunak should be noted as the second British Asian PM, not the first

edit

The first British prime minister of Indian descent was not Rishi Sunak but Lord Liverpool, whose grandmother Begum Johnson was a mixed-race Indian Hholdenday (talk) 18:13, 4 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

His article just says: "Through his mother's maternal grandmother, Isabella Beizor, Jenkinson was descended from Portuguese settlers in India and he may also have had Indian ancestors." So that looks a bit uncertain. But is this correct? There is no mention of Begum Johnson. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:09, 4 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
