New article for New Plough Lane development

edit

I will suggest the creation of an article of it's own for the development of the new stadium.

Just like we do with other developments, which are so long into their proposed planning.

I dont think the new content which is now on Plough Lane and Wimbledon (Greyhound) Stadium, belongs to those articles. It only makes confusion in fx the infoboxes, when people add info on the new development, mixed with the current.

At last - I dont know where to put such a proposal other than this - do tell me if there is a suggestion and discussion page for new articles. I dont wanna start it myself, if the majority is not behind the idea.

Move of Plough Lane articles

edit

Would make the most sense to call the new ground "Plough Lane" and the old "Old Plough Lane", as I see it. I have never really seen people call the new ground "New Plough Lane".

Requested move 12 March 2020

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: consensus to move the page to Plough Lane (1912–98). A separate discussion can be opened to bring this and similar titles into line with MOS:DATERANGE. (non-admin closure) Sangdeboeuf (talk) 19:40, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Old Plough Lane → ? – Please place your rationale for the proposed move here. Sine Cera, Infobesity (talk) 06:56, 12 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Most "common users" have the right to move pages over redirects that don't have an edit history. But Plough Lane does. For the new stadium to move over it, you need to show that it is WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. If neither the new nor old stadium is primary topic, we need a disambiguation page at "Plough Lane" per WP:NOPRIMARY (with Plough Lane (disambiguation) redirecting to it). 94.21.219.87 (talk) 03:50, 13 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
