AFC Teams
editWhen it says AFC1, 2, 3 - this reflects their finish at 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup? MaskedSinger (talk) 12:38, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- I guess this souce from the article. "As the three teams qualified through the AFC U-23 Asian Cup will be known only after the draw, placeholders will be allocated according to the ranking of the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Tokyo 2020. The placeholders will be named “AFC 1”, “AFC 2” and“AFC 3”." Kante4 (talk) 18:05, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! MaskedSinger (talk) 20:09, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- But i'm not really sure and maybe someone else has more understanding than me. Kante4 (talk) 20:10, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- The placeholders were ranked according to the 2020 results, but they indicate the final places from the U-23 Asian Cup - i.e. "AFC 1" is the champion, "AFC 2" is the runner-up, and "AFC 3" is Iraq because they won the third-place match. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 23:47, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
