editWhat does "Klipping" mean? Should that be included parenthetically? -----Michael K. Smith 03:39, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Attack of Smaland
editIn the 1270s, Erik Glipping attacked Småland
Who did he fight against there? Why did he attack them? Top.Squark (talk) 15:07, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Sprænghest
editAccording to this Danish dictionary — which for some reason is sitting on my desk — sprænghest means something like "springing horse" or "jumping horse".
If that's true, 1) it should be translated, and 2) an explanation for the name should be provided. That's a nickname?

Duke Valdemar at Lo Hede
editThe name of the duke of Southern Jutland/Sønderjylland who rebelled against Margrethe Simbiria should be Erik/Eric I, not as stated in the text duke Valdemar III. The climactic battle of Lo Hede was in 1261, but Valdemar had died in 1257. Erik was created duke in 1260. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LostPast (talk • contribs) 08:29, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
