VERY Dubious Information
editThis is where Wikipedia really falls on its arse. Brian Glanville is cited as a source but he is mistaken! Wright did not sign George Armstrong, Peter Simpson or Peter Storey - all joined the club before Wright became manager. I doubt that he would have had much to do with the signing of John Radford either as he joined Arsenal in the summer of 1962. Armstrong made his league debut for Arsenal FOUR MONTHS before Wright became manager. Unfortunately Glanville's writings are usually sourced from memory and not from hard research. My source? Arsenal A Complete Record by Fred Ollier & handbooks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Goonerak (talk • contribs) 18:07, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Is the inclusion of Brian Glanville's nasty comments really necessary? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.86.235.190 (talk) 15:13, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
