Extra time and such

Replay or penalty shoot-out?
editThe 1978 World Cup was the one when penalty shoot-outs were introduced, but this article says that after the extra time there would have been "Replay on 27 June if scores still level"
. The current version of Penalty shoot-out (association football) says, "If the 1982 final had been drawn, penalties would not have applied unless the replay was also drawn"
, citing some sources I don't have access to, and doesn't say anything about the 1978 final. --Theurgist (talk) 17:09, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
