Only 133 uses, and all of the main biographical fields are present in {{Infobox person}}. The only unique fields here are for a number of specific awards, but I suggest deprecating these and using the singular |awards=
field instead. A similar setup was heavily debated and ultimately rejected for {{Infobox actor}} a few years ago; to summarise the main points of that debate, it was felt that an infobox was not the place for such lengthy, structured lists, and that an arbitrary selection of specific awards was inherantly POV with a strong Western bias. I think these same arguments apply here. PC78 (talk) 17:36, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - Infobox person will do. -- WOSlinker (talk) 13:51, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- Delete – Seems to be redundant to Template:Infobox person. Also, would a redirect to that template work (especially given the parameters)? HeyMid (contributions) 15:29, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

As far as category "Association football top scorer awards templates", there is no individual template for the top scorers of each club season. I find this template redundant. —Chrisportelli (talk) 09:05, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

- Keep - just because other club top scorer templates don't yet exist, doesn't mean that they shouldn't. GiantSnowman 20:16, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- Delete. I think this is not an appropriate topic for a navbox. Information is already listed (in more detail) on the FC Twente page. Otherwise where does this stop? FC Twente captains, FC Twente Players of the Year, ...? As an example, J V of Hesselink article doesn't even mention he was top scorer for Twente and yet we need a navbox for it! Rambo's Revenge (talk) 20:31, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- Delete. I think it should mention he was the top goalscorer of the team, but only in his honours' section labeled as Individual Achievements or something like that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.225.158.227 (talk) 01:29, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Roster templates are only needed for FIFA and Confederation competitions. -— Lomocompact talk 02:13, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

- Delete all - Consensus has been established at WP:FOOTY that these navigation boxes are unnecessary for local tournaments like these which are not Confederation championships. They encourage creation of non-notable football biographies (through the many redlinks) and it would be impossible to maintain navboxes for all of these minor tournaments. - Template:OTA (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Template for a small UK association (240 members). Almost none of the links given in the template are notable: all council members are redirects to the association. None of the awards seem to be very significant either and I have redirected them to the same article, the same goes for the single publication listed. Not even the president has his own article... The template has been deleted after TfD several times before, but that referred to a different organisation. As it stands, this template is not used in any article at all. Crusio (talk) 09:15, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Most of the links that do not relink to the main article, are for the British Orthodontic Association, a different organization. 76.66.200.95 (talk) 05:09, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
