New Cities Heatwave

I don't like this song, but the opening has an "Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh" bit is Tarzan-esque, but the melody of that part seems awfully familiar, perhaps from an '80s song. Is it just me, or is it borrowed from something (or is it just Tarzan)? 207.81.30.213 (talk) 15:29, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Animated hovering blade / skateboard show

I'm looking for this 1990s - 2000s animated cartoon, it was much detailed and was about 3-5 kids and their hovering skateboards or something like Airblade :s the cars were kinda modern.

The Million Pound Drop Live

Hey all. Here in the UK we have a gameshow called The Million Pound Drop Live (I believe the format has been repeated in other countries: basically, contestants face eight questions, and on each question can hedge their remaining funds - they start with £1 million - on any number of multiple choice answers, but never all of them). The winnings are relatively low - most players will get a question wrong at some point - which makes me wonder. Are the producers allowed to change what question they are going to give the contestants late in the day? Do they? If you do really well on the early questions, will they fix the later ones to be harder in order to avoid paying out? If you're "nice" but do badly, do they give you a helping hand? I would suspect that there are rules and regulations preventing the changing of questions based on the progress of a contestant. I can't find anything specifically for that but the following link is to an parliamentary publication about call quiz shows (http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200607/cmselect/cmcumeds/72/72.pdf) On page 19 it states “broadcasters should be able to provide Ofcom with the correct answer and the methodology used to arrive at that answer, together with evidence that it could not have been changed after the competition started”. I suspect something similar would be in force for contestant driven shows (rather than phone-in shows). ny156uk (talk) 08:27, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Israeli movie

This is a real long shot, I know. I watched an Israeli movie many years ago. I can't remember anything about it, except that I really enjoyed it and there was a scene in a club where there was a band playing. The band were playing a song with a driving bass and the chorus was something like "and in Beirut, the bombs keep falling". Google failed to turn up anything. This makes me think of two possible films. One is called The Band's Visit about a band from Cairo that winds up in Israel by accident and was a comedy. or something else. The other is Beaufort which takes place in Southern Lebanon and is most definitely not a comedy (Joseph Cedar doesn't screw around).
