Comment left for Antaeus Feldspar
editAbout the comment you left on Antaeus Feldspar's user page [1], user pages are not the correct place for user comments. I relocated it to their Talk page [2]. -- Gogo Dodo 20:38, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- But I really do appreciate that you took the time to let me know I'd been of help; it gave me a big smile. =) -- Antaeus Feldspar 00:17, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Reference Desk - Body Markings
editHello! Not wanting to be annoying, but could you modify your reply to the person who asked about markings on their body? It's probably not a good idea to tell them that it is unlikely to be anything serious, as they were talking about finding a small hole in their head! 'See a doctor', in whatever form, is probably the safest thing we can say, whether their problem is physical or not :-) Thanks, and hope this doesn't annoy. Skittle 00:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. It wasn't that I disagreed with your general point, but, you know! :-) Skittle 10:13, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Removal of response to ref desk question
editAt the time you initially responded there was no question on the desk, a number of editors had expressed the opinion the the question should be removed, and Skittle had already done so. If you objected to this action you should have taken the matter to the ref desk talk page, rather than calling the action mean spirited.
The "reverters/deletionists removing answers" is not based on some "arbitrary code", but rather on Wikipedia's core policies WP:NPOV, WP:V, and WP:NOR (or whatever they are calling 'em these days).—eric 21:51, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Help?
editDo you think you can help me with my questions:
oops
editIn this edit, along with the "stupid stuff", you deleted a shim I'd deliberately inserted [3] to keep the archiving bot from breaking, as it does on empty days. Oh, well. —Steve Summit (talk) 01:50, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Re:Question on PS3
edit[4] - I made an attempt at the PS3 article to fix it :-) (And I also moved your question to the Help Desk). Tell me what you think! ScarianCall me Pat 22:57, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

editThanks for your answer on the "Adagio for Strings" question: even if you were beaten to the button, you still got it in 5 minutes! I was wondering: did you watch the clip, or just know instantly what I was talking about? --HarmoniousMembrane (talk) 16:56, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Your username
editHope you don't mind but how did you come up with your screenname? Whenever I see it, I can't help but think of this and refer to you simply as "Nyuk" in my head. Dismas|(talk) 08:08, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
