Ncmvocalist, although you did not provide a diff for the a comment you believe to be a personal attack, you mention that there was no need to place a user's name on an article talk page, and that you will remove it. I am led to believe that you are referring to this. It is not an unreasonable idea to avoid mentioning editors by name in a talk page. I think the refactoring of the comment which you made was beneficial. However, I do not believe the comment rises to the level for which an editor is likely to be blocked. You have removed several user warning templates from your user or user talk page. This is a bad idea. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they are put here because other editors think that your behavior needs improvement, and we're giving you the courtesy of letting you know. Please respond by changing your behavior, and please stop removing the warnings. Thank you. Sometimes users may place warning templates on your talk page which are not appropriate. It is best if you do not remove these yourself, but allow a third party to review the warning and the events which led to it. The third party may then remove the warning if warranted. In the current case, I reviewed the warning. If I thought the complaint was entirely unwarranted, I would have removed the template myself. However, I do think that the other editor involved has a good idea of avoiding discussion of editors on the article talk page. Please do not take this personally. Mentioning users in the manner in which this user did is far from reasonable. Again, gaming the system isn't tolerated either, and he has made another personal attack earlier (saying I made a personal attack when this wasn't true). For this reason, and for his self-belief that he was being incivil on the talk page of Carnatic music, the following tags have been (re)placed. However, any issues regarding this user's behaviour (if it interferes with the way Wikipedia is running) will no longer be tolerated. This really is, a final warning.

tamil sounds

Hi, I am a Tamil user working on making pages on hindi wikipedia (I cant read Tamil) on 63 Nayanar sanths. I need help with the "zh" sound, one that is foreign to my Malayali-influenced Tamil. So 7 in my Tamil book is "EZHA" which we pronounce closer to the english word "yore". I need help with words like "Perumizhalai" and "Kazharsinga".^T*^E*^H Kingrom 01:30, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello Venu62, I and other editors have noticed that you have been removing warning templates from images such as this This one. Please understand that these are not there to annoy you, they instead are there for a very good reason. Please rather than engaging with edit wars with others and removing them, consider talking with the user who placed the template on the page. This would be a good way to discuss over the issue, if you constantly remove the templates without any particular reason you may in fact be Blocked from wikipedia. So do be careful in doing this. We don't know who created this, when it was created, or when it was first published, so we can't say with any authority it is in the public domain. If we could demonstrate that the image was in the public domain, we should, and typically do, credit the location from which we got the digitised image. Jkelly 22:47, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

While it is polite of us to ask for permission to use a digital reproduction, it is a lot more important that we know who the original author is and when it was published. Permission from someone who scanned an image that they have no license to publish doesn't mean anything. If that website operator is the artist, on the other hand, we should be asking for a free license, not permission. Does this make sense? Jkelly 23:49, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Pardon me, but perhaps you should look carefully at that I removed. Someone had written a huge line of obscene words in the middle of the page. Also, I know what vandalism is.
