Slovenian help needed

edit

Hello U5KO, I'm contacting you because we need some Slovenian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on sl.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Slovenian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 23:16, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I'd be happy to help. Just give me links of the source text(s) in english and links for the translation in slovene possibly in some sort of priority order. --U5K0'sTalkMake WikiLove not WikiWar 13:16, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
U5KO, thanks for helping. Here are the priority pages, simply click "translate this page" at the top to get started:
  1. the User Guide, Slovenian 68% complete.
  2. Portal/Description page, Slovenian 7% complete (this one is important because the translation can become the main VE page on sl.wiki, which doesn't have a VE general description page yet).
  3. FAQ, Slovenian is 5% complete. Any progress you can make with these three will help sl.wiki users get up to date on VE. Let me know if you have any questions/issues. Regards, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 15:10, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Capital punishment in Azerbaijan

edit

The article Capital punishment in Azerbaijan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced sentence with an unrelated ref, if sources are found could be better placed (merged) in the law in Azerbaijan article as a two sentence article looks a bit unnecessary.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - Kevo327 (talk) 19:03, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Esro-logo.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:19, 14 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
