Warning users

edit

Thanks for helping clean up vandalism to Wikipedia! When you warn users, you should always "subst" the warning template - this helps keep the load on our servers down. You should also sign your warnings, as you would any other comment on a user talk page. For example, a warning for vandalism might look like this:

{{subst:uw-vandalism2}} ~~~~

Blackrock Center for the Arts

edit

I created an article on this center, and then checked the "what links here" to discover that you had been planning on creating one as well. Please feel free to beef up the article. I could use more sources and details. Thanks, Racepacket (talk) 20:32, 27 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Saito, Miyazaki vs Saito, Miyagi

edit

Hi Psinu,
When trying to re-direct a reader to the correct page, one way is with a hatnote template. In this case I used the {{about}} template, specifically:

{{about|Saito, [[Miyazaki Prefecture]]|Saito, the village that was completely destroyed in the [[2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami]]|Saito, Miyagi}}

There are lots of variation of this template. Hope this is helpful, Happy Editing! - 220.101 talk\Contribs 15:57, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yoga as Ex article

edit

Hello Psinu, Thanks for expanding the scope of the Yoga as Ex article. It's a really good idea to add the dimension of yoga therapy training. However, I have made one request on the talk page of the article. Best to you and Namaste.

Refreshing

edit

Hi again. A belated thanks for your refreshingly straightforward response on the Yoga as Ex article. I'll see what I can come up with. And thanks for the tip on the Yin Yoga article--will see what I can do there too. All best, Early morning person (talk) 20:10, 2 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

EF5 France tornadoes

edit

Please revert your removal of the France tornadoes on List of F5 and EF5 tornadoes. Contrary to what your reasoning states, the list of EF5 tornadoes does not specify it's only for 2007 and on, that's just when the EF-Scale was implemented. If you took the time to read the provided references (assuming that you didn't because you removed the entries entirely) you'll see that they've been assessed as F5 by the American Meteorological Society in an official study. The EF-Scale ranking comes from the French tornado database confirms these findings and shows that they've converted all tornadoes to the EF-Scale. It's up to respective agencies whether or not to re-assess tornadoes to the EF-Scale, which France decided to do while the United States did not. There is an obvious unbalanced bias towards United States F/EF5 tornadoes on that list as no confirmed European tornadoes of that intensity are listed in the confirmed table. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 21:19, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Knock it off. Irate outbursts like this one do nothing to resolve the underlying dispute, do nothing to create a collaborative editing environment, do nothing to clear up any potential misunderstandings, and are thus disruptive. Comment on the content, not on the contributor. If you continue making egregious personal attacks, you may be blocked from editing. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 22:10, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

And it's not your place to insert yourself where you aren't involved. You see the text above, which was completely unwarranted. I responded in kind (though not kindly). This Cyclonebiskit is apparently an experienced user who should know a lot better than to fire off (mildly) accusatory things without checking into who actually laid the bricks on it. At this point, I will enter the "cone of not really caring anymore" and you can do what you wish. Have a lovely day! ΨνPsinu 09:41, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mikhail Lyubich, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Universality (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
