Hey, Mediran
Mediran,
You recently reverted edits I made to the page "http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Daniel_Babai". As you can see, if you read this page, it is pure vandalism. I happen to be the user this page is talking about, and I'm extremely offended by whoever created it and am trying to find whoever did it. I am aware this page was created quite a long time ago, but I noticed that the IP address of the creator is of a user that has quite the history of vandalism. My talk page was also edited and vandalized, which I recently edited as well. If you could delete the page I quoted altogether, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
- I reverted your edits due to you blanked the page, if you are the user, please log in to edit your userpage, by the way, the user who created the userpage we are talking about is Tj21. Thank you and have a nice day! :)Mediran talk to me! 02:49, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I originally created my first and only wikipedia account over 4 or 5 years ago for a class I was taking as an undergraduate student and cannot remember my login information for that account. I believe I may have used my email address that I had in undergrad at the time, which is no longer active/in use, so it is likely impossible for me to login even if I did remember the exact email address and username that I had. Believe me, I wish I could log back in and delete the whole page altogether. As I am about to graduate from my graduate school, I am trying to clean up several personal accounts I have (facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and came across this page via google. I have created this new account, however, and as you can probably tell, my IP address is the same as my first comment here.
- I would greatly appreciate it Meridan if you could help me delete the page. Thank you for telling me the user who created the page in the first place...
- Ahhh, I see. I already tagged your page with U1 but I don't know if some admin will comply with my request. Let's just wait for a while. Mediran talk to me! 03:11, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, Mediran. I think I just figured out who the actual person behind that user name is too, and unfortunately, I know them personally. — Preceding unsigned comment added byDanBabaiDC (talk • contribs) 03:18, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

- The page was deleted! Thanks again, Mediran. I am thinking of reporting this to the proper people at my school, and I have taken a couple screenshots as evidence. I was unfortunately a little late in taking a screenshot of the original revision history of that user page (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Daniel_Babai), so it's a little tough for me to tie the user Tj21 to the crime right now--all I have is you saying that he was the one who created the user page. His user contributions on that date were deleted along with the page. Any way I could look at something tangible that states Tj21 created that user page and the content that was in it? Appreciate all the help. DanBabaiDC (talk) 04:09, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- DanBabai, I've looked at the deleted edits and User:Tj21 did create the page three years ago. However, the original creation was nothing more than a greeting. An IP address expanded the content to a more silly version about a month later. I think characterizing the edits as a "crime" makes more of the situation than actually exists. Tiderolls 04:27, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- The original creation may appear to be nothing more than a greeting, but "J.A." and "John Li" are mutual colleagues of mine andUser:Tj21, whom he was pretending to be. I believe the deleted edits you are referring to are in the revision history under the Talk page. The more inflammatory and offensive remarks that User:Tj21 made were on the actual user page that has now entirely been deleted, along with the revision history of that specific page. Luckily, what he wrote can be seen here on this cached link that still exists... for now. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:TCxggsVpTWAJ:en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Daniel_Babai+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
- Since I am applying for jobs at this time and this page was very easy to find through mediums such as google, I'm not happy about it. The person he mentions at the end is also a mutual colleague of User:Tj21 and I, and he is also someone I consider to be a good friend. Simply put, the person that did this attempted to make me look unprofessional. Considering I know him personally and once thought he was a friend, and he did this behind my back without my knowledge or my friend's knowledge, I think you'd agree his actions are pretty deceitful and definitely crossed a line. DanBabaiDC (talk) 04:53, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Nope, I meant the user page. Different folks have different standards regarding offensiveness. If you're concerned with the edits, you may follow the instructions found at Wikipedia:Oversight to request suppression. Tiderolls 05:05, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- I looked at all of Tj21's edits before the page was deleted, and I don't remember any greeting other than the one that involved the names "J.A." and "John Li", whom User:Tj21 was impersonating. However, I understand what you mean about different folks having different standards when it comes to what is found to be offensive. Honestly, I'm really not easily offended. I do think most people in my situation would be offended or disturbed though. This particular situation may not be as offensive to others as it is to me because this is a personal matter that just applies to me, but I was disturbed to discover that an insulting mock wikipedia page about me was made by someone I've believed to be my friend for 3 years.
- I am hoping that I may be able to take a screenshot or someone could send me a screenshot that shows User:Tj21 edited the user page, as is seen in the link mentioned above. DanBabaiDC (talk) 05:26, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

- Hello, Tiderolls was right, at first Tj21 created a page with greetings then months ago, an IP address or an anonymous user blanked the page, added some content after blanking and then another anonymous user (I guess that was you) blanked the page. I reverted the edit due to that page is a personal space for Daniel Babai. So some anonymous user had something to do with this and not your long time friend.Mediran talk to me! 10:05, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help guys. The IP Address you referred to is from the same location that user Tj21 and I went to grad school, so I suspect he simply edited the page using a different computer, perhaps in the school library. He had no reason to create the page in the first place, and based on his user contribution history, I see he has not exactly had the best intentions in mind. Am I incorrect when I state that Tj21 specifically was responsible for writing the following, or was it the anonymous IP Address? "Hello, My Name is Daniel Babai. I come from Massachtuessts. I am 22 years old. I went to UMass-Amherest for my undergraduate education. Currently I am attending New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) for my doctorate in chiropractic, I am a first trimester student going on second tri coming this Jan 2010. I love orgies with jewish blued blondes and I hate Maan." I'm sorry to bring this up again, and I sincerely appreciate your assistance with this. I just want to make sure all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted, so to speak, before I address this with my friend (if I even do that). DanBabaiDC (talk) 18:18, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

hi
why are you providing speedy deletion for nilesh sahay ??????27.4.118.40 (talk) 09:09, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello also as well! I tagged the article for speedy deletion due to the article's subject does not assert significance. Specifically, I tagged the article for A7 which states that articles about (1) Persons, (2) animals, (3) organisations & (4) web content tha does not assert significance or notability may be deleted. The article was already deleted (click here). Have a nice day! :)Mediran talk to me! 09:13, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

- Hello again! Firstly, you must have an account, you can sign up here. I don't know of you areDeepak Sahani who has been accused of sock puppetry. You must provide sources, reliable sources to be exact and make sure that the person is notable and has significance. Please read WP:BIO for more detailed info. Three questions, if you don't mind, thanks
I saw you ask a user I talked with recently at VPT about becoming an admin. I wonder this: how long are the backlogs of admin's duties, what categories of actions do they fall under, and what is the historical trend of those backlogs? Maybe you could link me somewhere. You can reply here. Thanks! Biosthmors (talk) 16:52, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello. I'm just interested to know if he want to be an admin for his great works. Mediran talk to me!09:48, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
my account
I have a problem. I'm a sockpuppet of Kurt4, as I say in my user page. I need to restore my original account, supposed to be a "long-term vandal" but I can assure that's a mistake. I have been banned form italian wikipedia due to a conflict with an administrator, but I'm not a vandal ! You can verify this looking at my contributions as Kurt4 (or with this account and the other one fsask4l1gg) in english wiki I can explain if you need. best wishes --Francesds (talk) 10:25, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, you have said that have problems regarding your previous account Kurt4. I really don't know your problem but I guess it is about logging in with that account, please Log in here if you want or you could just use that account because I don't see any problems with that since your only purpose I guess is to contribute. Please be informed that sock puppetry in Wikipedia is discouraged especially when its only purpose is to vandalize such articles unless if your account is legit. Thank you and have a nice day! :) Mediran talk to me! 10:36, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Excuse me but I can't access now. I suppose I'm blocked again. Can you restore my account Francesds and transfer all record of my contribytions there ? I can'y work so. Every time I'm blocked without discussion and my sandbox deleted ! I'm not a vandal, I can demonstrate this, look at my edits! Thank youm best wishes --31.26.147.34 (talk) 11:05, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Moving a Page
Thank you for pointing out the 'move page' option to me. However, now you have restored the Gilda's Club page which is a duplicate ofCancer Support Community page. The whole purpose of the change was because the former has now been changed to the latter (as cited in the reference provided.) You have additionally reverted the page to remove the content I added, which was accurate and sourced adequately.
I will re-add the data I put in and do the 'move' function, but I'm not sure what to do about the existing article for Cancer Support Community. CouplandForever (talk) 11:32, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- You could request it for moving and you could also blank the duplicated page so someone could tag it for deletion.Mediran talk to me! 11:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
...also...
You have your page set up so I can't respond to or edit my original message to you. I attempted to move the page as you instructed, but again, because I already created a page for "Cancer Support Community," I can't make the move. I request that you please do it for me since clearly I am ill-equipped, and in the future I will know to use the move function instead. CouplandForever(talk) 11:35, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Please request it at WP:RM or you can blank the page so I or somebody can tag it for G7. Mediran talk to me! 11:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: List of Pukhto or Pashto-language writers
Hello Mediran. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of List of Pukhto or Pashto-language writers, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: it's short, but the context is clear and the entries are all blue-links - looks to me something that could grow. I hope the barnstar for Demiurge was worth it. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 03:14, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Barnstars are often worth it, as they can be assembled quickly and easily from inexpensive components, thanks to the WMF's ground-breaking and innovative WikiLove(tm) technology. To misquote Jimbo, it's a bit like a sausage - it tastes very nice but you don't necessarily need to know what's gone into it. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 16:42, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- By the way, Kudpung my good fellow, I find it most churlish of you to wave vague threats at me merely because I fixed a problem that was apparently causing you some distress. Not to mention, your edits here are disgraceful when aimed at an editor who made a good faith mistake in posting to your talk page, and you should be man enough to redact them or apologise for them.--Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:48, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Music as taught in the Philippines?
Hello Mediran. I noticed you were from the Philippines. Are you in any way familiar with the way music is taught in the Philippines, specifically the technical vocabulary used there in the teaching of music? Thanks. Signed: Basemetal00 (write to me here) 14:56, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Music taught in the Philippines is like any others. Mostly during high school, the music taught is traditional, native music from the Philippines and Asian music (e.g. Music of China, Music of Japan, M of Korea, etc.) You can see this and this and this PDF module for more detailed info. Thanks. Mediran talk to me! 23:34, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you Mediran. Your links are very useful. I couldn't yet access www.bse.ph but the two other documents provide already a lot of what I wanted. I'm looking for material on musical education in East Asia as sources for Wikipedia pages that deal with music education and music theory because East Asia (including China) seems to be a growing area for education in and production and consumption of music (from the Western classical tradition, to native styles, through local pop, rap, rock, and what not). The Philippines are especially interesting because that country has the reputation abroad to be a very "musical" country, that basically Filipinos are nuts about music, so I was particularly interested in their curriculum and their methods of musical education. Thanks again. Wikipedia is just great isn't it? Cheers. Signed: Basemetal00 (write to me here) 05:34, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Some of user talk:108.35.148.228's edits do seem to be valid, there is a rate increase click on Toll increase Dec 2. A block request for the IP was previously declined. The IP is an issue... Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 02:38, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Ummhhh... I should have reverted in good faith the user's edits hours ago. The problem is the user doesn't provide edit summaries like "changed rate per source" or so whatever. Good thing that the user wasn't blocked because the user has good edits at all. Thanks for your concern. I guess the IP was an issue. Evan Jerald
Hi Mediran! Good to see you active on Wikipedia! I was just wondering why added A7 on Evan Jerald and then removed it soon after. I think your tag is quite correct, but I'm wondering why you removed it? I was thinking of adding A7 to the article, but it seems somebody else has already added it. --Webclient101talk 07:44, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi also Webclient101! I removed the tag I placed because I was in doubt with A7 because the subject has a bit notability with his position in Microsoft. Good that somebody has finally tagged the article with A7. Have a nice day! :) Mediran Season's greetings! 07:51, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. The person just works at Microsoft, so that doesn't justify that the article is important or significant for Wikipedia. Don't doubt yourself, your doing great a job. I'll see you around, enjoy the rest of your day! (:

- The source is no reliable, the note was just from a user from YouTube. Please provide reliable source/s for verification and your editing seems un-constructive as well, please see WP:EDIT. Thanks. Have a nice day! :) Mediran talk to me! 00:14, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
The note is from highly successful youtube personality Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen who says at the end of her video "byeeee... ah gotta stop saying Grace's bye." But that is just supporting evidence as to other youtube users acknowledging the catch phrase as belonging specifically to Grace Helbig. The obvious primary source is Grace Helbig's YouTube videos: note the last thing Grace Helbig says at the end of her videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_VTTwf4dLo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyZHcYWMbkI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-PzjybCNf0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v134Xyn5hHE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B3vtlvjwVY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDc7725rc9A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQoRpv9OX-Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKwF2rfwVPE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAjwLBuKQt0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbSFpLvURIk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qcJlhfSrzM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KqgKLC8ue0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLOwzuN1aCE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlMOr7V884o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZQ79IQtJ9o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foxfLO2knRY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAcS40DNt40 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srLqcG-qyvA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2Y-X1y_Njg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLReaRgYyyI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ulXnnIlUOA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up_-Vw-KGtM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atbyBtIkn7U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZzFGImhwKs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umLCdeBhLFk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqK1vtjXHgU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRiS4CaB4GE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6hUH9YdZYw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUCC0TApbYM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCWqqfO84Ys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbrMPFpKp-I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOALqpZMXFI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mELQlkBp6Nc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5c9aSplMKk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA5ZViUh0Kc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVtp665fGkA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28OKL9tINUQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-h0t1eHg5cA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5W4S3Y_3S8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAbi6JaS8Ek http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3l3QQ0-9WA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ2X8epz3nk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdlJfwN3Jck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szFZB3mv_1M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rikDa0Ick_0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfhSvgg4fUQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnuMFtM3ns8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY5CevRsa5I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWUrE6O9-m8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VT3sXd9Becc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTBewQTkC50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAJtqFQqIUs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_RmQSXQ9PE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcLTUPSwjx0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Edkc9XD4QYA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9_7JbCtBOM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFkXT49dKz0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i134jIAy50M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCqq-aSpP7w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEK93ojoql8

- Hello Mediran. User 76.254.56.135 is right though. I've checked several of Grace's videos. And he's right also that Hanna mentions it. Why precisely did his edit need to be reversed? I don't get it. Is this such an important issue? It is true, and is not challenged. I think rules ought to be applied with common sense. Why aren't the videos themselves a good enough reliable source? Everybody can check them. How can you get more reliable than that? A guy comes and adds some information (which is true) to a page. It wasn't vandalism. Instead of thanking him, his edit is immediately reversed. Isn't it a bit discouraging to have it reversed immediately when he knows he's right? Don't bite the newcomer. I know I shouldn't get involved in this, but I can't stand injustice. I was just visiting your page for the references on musical education in the Philippines that you so very kindly provided, for which I thank you again and for which I am very grateful. - My concern with this edit made by the anonymous user is that it is unconstructive, so it is in the point of vandalism, I am not saying it is really vandal but yet it is uncontrctive, saying like "Byeee" with repeating "e"s, so I decided to revert it as vandal because I don't really know Grace Helbig a lot so I, of course as an editor reverted it, his edit was already reverted twice. My point is in Wikipedia, verifiability is important and should done as well. Common sense will do but come on, are we going to rely on that? No offense. In addition, I don't bite him, I am not tearing him apart, I am just doing my job as a Wikipedian to revert I feel something that is not right (of course, at that time, I don't know about the subject). Also, hello IP/anonymous user, you can revert, why don't revert it, it is the essence of Wikipedia, to edit what is needed and necessary. Have a nice day to the two of you! :) Mediran talk to me! 09:50, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Mediran. "Byeeee", with repeating "e"s is just the way she pronounces it, with a long "ee" like in "see", "bee", "free", "tree", and so on. That's all that it was. An attempt to represent the funny way she says it. Btw, I have nothing to do with 76.254.56.135. It's just by accident that I stumbled upon this. If you want to talk to him directly you'd better go to his talk page, or answer his own message directly here, because he's not likely to read your answer to me, I don't think. Cheers, and thanks again. Signed: Basemetal00 (write to me here) 10:11, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Autocade and Progress Automotive pages
Hello
You have requested 2 of my pages for speed deletion and I would greatly appreciate some feedback and understanding as to why. There is no bias in eiether - they are factual pages about a company and a product, and as such are useful should anyone search on wikipedia for information on either.
I look forward to your response Alex Knight 4/12/12 Alexpaulknight (talk) 08:39, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your concern. Unfortunately, both of your articles failed to meet notability, it doesn't claim significance either. Articles regarding web content and companies must have significance on why the article must have an article. The article also fails WP:GNG where articles must have sources for verification, it is one of the fundamental needs. Please see WP:A7, WP:WEB, WP:CORP or WP:V for more info. Please consider to use the Article Wizard on creating new articles. Thanks! Have a nice day! :) Mediran talk to me! 08:49, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- Another page which is particularly relevant in your case is WP:COI. Kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no COI thinks your company and its product are notable. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:21, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Minister of Housing (New Zealand)
Hi, I got rid of the redirection from Minister of Housing (New Zealand) to Ministry of Housing because I think Minister of Housing should have its own page. Could you help me understand why that was bad? Cheers Ballofstring (talk) 09:18, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! Leaving a page blank is bad. You may improve the page by editing it rather than leaving the page blank itself. I see that Minister of Housing was the previous name of its target, Department of Building and Housing. For me, the redirect has relevance. Please visit or see WP:BLANK for more info. Hi Mediran. I think your speedy deletion request is a bit speedy. The company in question has 300+ employees and is an engneering industry software solution company that supplies most shipyards thropugh the world. It is among the largest companies of its class globally, and it will assumedly fall well within the criteria for notable companies. Apart from that, the article is started as a part of an editing course here in Norway, I will personally help the students to make this article less promoting. Kind regards, Bjoertvedt (talk) 10:04, 6 December 2012 (UTC), steward at no:wiki.
- Hello! I think my speedy is fine. Let's wait for some admins if they will comply on the request or will just decline the speedy. As I saw the article before I tagged it, there were no such statements saying about its significance, please add sources for verification. The article also fails WP:CORP and WP:CORPDEPTH. You have said that you are doing "editing course" in Wikipedia? Remember that Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia and it not meant for test editing. Please use the sandbox or you may use a draft where it will be placed on your own userspace and not on the mainspace. Mediran talk to me! 10:19, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- The article fulfills all these criteria, in my view. Thanks for the sandbox info, in this instance I dodn't regard the article as having been a sandbox candidate, as it has been produced within a few hours with links, references, and all. Speedy deletion can be an option, but not towards first-time-ever editors who try to contribute. Kind regards, Bjoertvedt (talk) 14:04, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for contacting me. Can you let me know the change you made? im wondering if you might be able to help me: Im trying to delete the page Maya Jobarteh from Wikipedia, as it was originally put up by someone that did not use the artist's correct name, using her second name instead of her first. The reason im looking into it is because I have had feedback that its confusing as google is sourcing wikipedia to list this artist, but under the wrong name. People are therefore thinking that perhaps they are two different people. This article "Maya Jobarteh" should have been taken down a long time ago - in fact by the person that created it, but i see that is still stands today. Do you have any suggestions? Many thanks, Sam — Preceding unsigned comment added by Westafricanguild (talk • contribs) 10:12, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! The reason why the redirect page Maya Jobarteh is targeted to Sona Jobarteh is because it was moved way back 2009. The article was first created with the title of Maya Jobarteh, then it was renamed to "Sona Jobarteh" as it is the real name of the subject. Please approach an admin to help you with deleting that. But I guess it must not be deleted as of this time as it is just a result of a move and also, I search it on Google, the name has relevance to the target page. Thank you! :) Mediran talk to me! 10:29, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
Signatures
Do you make your signatures colorful and stylish manually? If not then how? Or if yes then just notify me at my talk page about your answers.--pratyya (talk) 10:22, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! Sorry, I am confused with your question but I guess you are asking about how I modify or customize my signatures. You can modify your signature at your preferences at the "Signature" section. As you can see, there is a checkbox saying "Treat the above as wiki markup" right below the textbox at the section. If you do not check the "Treat the above as wiki markup" box, the exact text you enter will be shown as your signature. Please see WP:SIGN or WP:CUSTOMSIG for more detailed info. :) Mediran talk to me! 10:37, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:FrozenfaceoffSBSP.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:FrozenfaceoffSBSP.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:09, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

Vandalism warning?
I am sorry I don't agree with you that I was vandalising Mike Tysons page by adding to the heading that he was a convicted rapist. Here in New Zealand I would argue that he is as well known as a rapist as a boxer, especially since he has just had his visa to visit NZ denied because of his rape conviction. Just because you may not agree or like the fact that he was convicted of rape, there is no need to try and cover it up. Brain696 (talk) 06:22, 10 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! Sorry for those template messages. Unfortunately, the lead section must include the subject's known-being, being a boxer. I already encountered this as also another user notified me regarding this issue last 15 November (archive). As I said, putting those statements might sound too harsh for the subject. Those kind of happening is appropriate in a separate section which was already done. Sorry again for those notifications that you have received. Hi Meridian! :) I hope you and your loved ones are doing well, especially due to the recent natural disaster in your country. I'm writing to you because you have erased something I wrote in the "Elephant cognition" article. You said you didn't think it added anything productive, but didn't explain why you have this opinion. I have re-added it in, because I really do think it adds something valuable. I believe this to be the case because it highlights the contradictions in logic and the hypocrisy of those who recommend killing off members of a species who are waaaaay less of a threat to biodiversity than we humans are. Will you respect the changes and not erase them this time? Hope you have a good day. :) 75.119.239.74 (talk) 03:08, 14 December 2012 (UTC)From a user in Canada, December 13th 201275.119.239.74 (talk) 03:08, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

A1 tag on Packer quarterbacks
This was a poor nomination for CSD under A1, since the topic was obviously a list of green bay quarterbacks. Please also remember that A1 and A3 should not be used within minutes of an article creation - wait to see if the new user edits again to add content or context. Thanks! Best, Petrut — Preceding unsigned comment added by Petrutm (talk • contribs) 13:05, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! I appreciated your contributions here in Wikipedia! Anyways, you can see this for the list of moth species and you can see that there is Petrodava there as this is also the reference used in the article. Also, there are a lot of Petrodava existing just like you said that it is a village or a settlement where you were born and also, this is a species of moth. No worries when it comes to those things with the same name. You can create articles with the same name already existing but you must add disambiguations on what is that article to differ from other articles with the same of that (e.g. John Michael, John Michael (American football), John Michael (academics), etc.). See WP:NC for more info. Thank you! :) Mediran (t • c) 13:19, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Letter of Credit: 10 December 2012
Hi. I removed the stuff from the 'letter of credit' page as it was not properly coded and so spawned a load of code in the article rather than images. I didn't know how to fix the code so rather than have the article filled with junk code i removed it until someone could do it properly.

Frederick Wentworth (Persuasion) was correct.
Regarding your recent move, as Persuasion is the name of the Jane Austen novel of which the subject is a character, you shouldn't have moved the page to the lower case version. Mabalu (talk) 12:04, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Pending changes
Hello. I noticed you rejected a pending change that did not appear to be one of the 4 designated reasons for a rejection, on the articleThe Walking Dead (TV series). Were you aware of the new policy implemented when PC was re-introduced? Please reviewWikipedia:Reviewing. Please disregard this if that was rejected for copyright issues. You can revert yourself, accept the edit and then make the correction afterwards.--Amadscientist (talk) 12:07, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Amadscientist! I don't know if Darpan exists because I saw the list of characters in the article and there were no Darpan there. I will revert myself because I have doubt with my reject at the first place. Thanks! :) Mediran (t •c) 12:23, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello Mediran, thank you so much for your review.
I do understand what is the situation about my user and my article, it is true that is the company I'm actually working with, I search for some other companies we work with like Xcaret, Xelha, Dolphin Discovery or Expedia and I felt it was OK to write about it, it looks like I didn't do it in a proper way. So I would like to ask you: if I edit my user and the article can it be published?? If so I will be very happy to write about some other things, in this part of Mexico there are many things that we can share about.
Thanks again for your time and attention and will be waiting for your response.
Have a nice day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by189.149.46.31 (talk) 17:57, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! Sorry but I don't know what I did to you that you're so thankful. Of course when you edit, it will be published right away in the mainspace. It is recommended to do articles in your userspace to have a better construction. Unfortunately, as I understood what you've written, making articles here in Wikipedia should aim to produce a neutral, reliably sourced encyclopedia. I guess you are in the state of conflict of interest. COI is extremely discouraged and is not advised to do. In accordance of WP:COI, "COI editing involves contributing to Wikipedia in order to promote your own interests or those of other individuals, companies, or groups." Please do write articles that you think that is worth writing and reading and do not start articles that only interests you. Thanks and have a nice holidays! Tate Stevens
I was writing a note/message on Tate Stevens article stating that he needs to have a stand alone article for winning the talent show The X Factor USA season 2. could you please by any means not remove my messages on his talk page as I was only trying to contribute to it. User talk:Welcometothenewmillenium 3:24, 21, December 2012 (UTC)
- Well you can do that, you can create his article now but please ensure and bear in mind those sources. Please provide sourcesfor verification in accordance of WP:BLP. See also WP:BIO and WP:GNG for more info about notability and general guidelines if you are going to start his article. Also, what I only did in the talk page is I reverted your blanking because it is not right to remove comments by other editors. In addition, please sign your posts with ~~~~. Mediran (t •c) 03:38, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you so much I will take all this into consideration however I will apologize for doing that to one editor but understand I only did it because that editor was posting comments that have nothing to do and contribute to Tate Stevens. I might be wrong but I think editors should post comments that are relatable to the article. I don't mind anyone to comment on it either. I just wish and want for them to contribute something important thats all no hard feelings on the other hand I really don't understand why you would need to block me from my IEP address when I clearly have done nothing wrong to anyone I will not delete anyone's message anymore I will promise you that but be aware of what I'm trying to say. User talk:Welcometothenewmillenium 03:43, 21 December 2012 (UTC) =)
- Yes, but that article wasn't all about Tate Stevens, that is a talk page for the article List of The X Factor finalists (U.S. season 2). Remember that remove vandalism, nonsense, bad faiths and attacks in a talk page and not dear and good faith comments and suggestions. Thanks! Mediran (t • c) 03:53, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Well I appreciate your concerns I will no longer vandalize even though I really wasn't trying to I just did it by mistake but thanks anyways User talk:Welcometothenewmillenium 03:57, 21 December 2012 (UTC).

Note on the venezuelan parallel baseball league.
Hi
The changes I made to that document was not only constructive, it was truthful. People are using this WIKI link as proof that the league has a minor league level, which it does not have, I was correcting that ton quell the false information about the venezuelan winter baseball league.
I can not provide a source to something that does not exist, and the person who posted that information left it without any sources or links or any real information, hence the issues posted by wiki about the page and how lacking it is.
Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.97.102.69 (talk) 13:35, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! Unfortunately, your additions fails to meet some fundamental Wikipedia guidelines and policies wherein tone must be observed in accordance of WP:NPV. Also, the revision also fails WP:GNG and as I understood your query, were correcting it whereas saying that it is a minor league. It violated WP:ORIGINAL wherein Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought. Mediran (t •c) 13:48, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

- You can see Special:RecentChanges for some recent changes made by users. No, you must perform the revert then warn them.Mediran (t • c) 06:34, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
- I've seen the whole Special:RecentChanges and my watchlist but no luck. What shall I do now.--Pratyya (have a chat?) 06:46, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
- Click here to see the recent changes made by IPs. IPs frequently are the cause of vandals and they made good faith edits. If there is none, you can postpone the reverting then if you have found unnecessary edits, that's the time you can revert. I guess the primary reason why WP is so quiet because it's Christmas Eve. People are busy for tomorrow's event. But if you can see bad faiths, please revert them or you can come back tomorrow to continue the training if there is really no vandals today. Cluebot picks up a lot of vandalism, but more subtle stuff and GF can only be picked up by "recent changes" or a watchlist. Even then, it may not be obvious without subject knowledge, like this Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:52, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
- Wow! First of all, thanks for that and also advanced Happy New Year to you! :) Thanks for that advise. I will surely give him some examples to have prior knowledge in regards of what he wants to learn. Maybe I did his CVU a little too fast without showing him the actual difference of GF and vandals. I really thank you for that. :) Mediran (t • c) 11:12, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks
for your Christmas message. I didn't get round to sending any through being offline for various reasons. I'm on a dongle connection at the moment, and keeping a careful eye on the water that's sneaking up on where I'm camping. It's supposed to miss us. Just... Too cold for swimming. - Haha... it's my pleasure to greet you and of course you are welcome! You've been most helpful ever since I started NPP-ing. Even though you have been experienced some "sneaking water", I bet you have enjoyed camping there! Cheers! :) Mediran (t •c) 01:10, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
