Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013 New York Cosmos season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Henry López (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Updates

edit

Hi. When making updates as you did to 2013–14 Sunderland A.F.C. season please also update the date of when the statistics are corret otherwise the edit is considered disruptive. For example other readers might see "Ohh it is not updated" and add even more goals to the goalscorers-table. QED237 (talk) 15:56, 6 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Bazemore

edit

The deal was reported almost two months ago, but the Hawks have not officially announced it nor have they added him to their roster. In the meantime, they have announced and added Shelvin Mack and Mike Scott. I'm not sure why the Hawks haven't reported Bazemore, but he needs to either be announced by the team, added to their official roster page or both before the Wikipedia article gets changed. It could be he has a non-guaranteed training camp deal, it could mean he actually hasn't signed as planned, it could be the Hawks website writer is on vacation, but there needs to be some commitment expressed by the club. Infobox timestamps

edit

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 00:22, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please ensure you update the date parameter in the infobox. GiantSnowman 11:45, 16 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Luke Brennan (soccer) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Luke Brennan (soccer), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) WP:NFOOTY is no longer a valid SNG, so GNG must be met. It needs several refs from independent, reliable, secondary sources to pass WP:GNG. It should have at least 3 of those. Please remember that routine sports coverage does not satisfy GNG, and that interviews, being primary sources, do not go to notability either. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
