Mareez

Excellent work on revamping Mareez! But can you add the citations whenever possible? If you read from a book, you can cite the book as well. Coderzombie (talk) 15:15, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

I am working whole day for it. I translated from Gujarati Wikipedia with some inputs from website operated by his son. I will soon as start adding citations. -Nizil (talk) 15:31, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
Nice! Once again, excellent work. I started this page, when I saw play based on Raees Maniar's book, but couldn't find any references. Great work. Coderzombie (talk) 15:37, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for reaching out to me, Nizil. I would be glad to take a look at this article after work today. In the meantime, another very able editor, User:Ipigott, has done a c/e, leaving a note about that on my talkpage. A tag has been placed on Talvana, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi there,

I am contacting you because you seem to be the only member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Gujarat who is currently active. There is a discussion at Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2015_November_5#Ghatiya that could benefit from the attention of a Gujarati speaker. I would appreciate it if you could comment there. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Article: Sanki King

The banner you have placed on this article and the points that are mentioned in the bullets are all irrelevant i.e "close connection", "fans pov", promotes the subject in a subjective manner". If you had taken the time to read the third party sources, 90% of the things written in the article about the artist are all taken from the third party sources themselves to make the article as authentic as possible, that is why you see so many citations on the entire article. I am removing the banner from the article as of this moment and would request you to first do a thorough reading of the article and all its third party sources before putting up irrelevant banners on the article. Thank you very much. SameStruggle (talk) 16:56, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

SameStruggle, I have not much problems with references but style of writing. Now I have edited whole articles myself with relevant notes in edit summary. I have also flagged unreliable sources. Maybe more refs needed. Hope my edits satisfy you. Nizil (talk) 19:24, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

7 more days to create or expand articles

Hello, thanks a lot for participating in Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon. We understand that perhaps 7 days (i.e. 25 January to 31 January) were not sufficient to write on a topic like this, and/or you may need some more time to create/improve articles, so let's extend this event for a few more days. The edit-a-thon will continue till 10 February 2016 and that means you have got 7 more days to create or expand articles (or imprpove the articles you have already created or expanded).

Rules

The rules remain unchanged. Please report your created or expanded articles.

Joining now

Editors, who have not joined this edit-a-thon, may also join now.

Reviewing articles

Reviewing of all articles should be done before the end of this month (i.e. February 2016). We'll keep you informed. You may also check the event page for more details.

Prizes/Awards

A special barnstar will be given to all the participants who will create or expand articles during this edit-a-thon. The editors, who will perform exceptionally well, may be given an Indic Geographical Indication product or object. However, please note, nothing other than the barnstar has been finalized or guaranteed. We'll keep you informed.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kumar Suvarna Chandrak, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sundaram. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Proposed deletion of Anwar Agewan

The article Anwar Agewan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Queries for edits to this page https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Rakesh_Jhaveri

Hi Nizil

Can you please let me know the reason for undoing my edit since there are already multiple references in there so what is the reason to add this warning which is back in August 2014. After that there are so many references added.

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vgandhi2015 (talkcontribs) 07:44, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
