Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg
editHello and thank you for your contributions. I noticed a few problems with your edits which forced me to revert them. First of all, please avoid adding HRH or any honorific prefixes to the lead sections. That goes against our manual of style. You can look at the articles on the British royal family, which are great examples on how to set up the leading paragraph. Additionally, it is preferable to list mothers by their maiden names in the infobox, not by titles that they have received through marriage. Lastly and most importantly, I noticed that you had added various titles for each individual along with some paragraphs without attaching any sources. Note that anything that you add must have a secondary source independent of the subject, otherwise it might be challenged and removed as it's not verifiable. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know. Cheers! Keivan.fTalk 03:27, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, and thanks for your message. I'm new to Wikipedia and I didn't know about the HRH prefix not being permitted. The additional titles additional are verifiable from many certifiable sources. I had spent many hours, work and research on all the pages for all that work now to be erased. I wish I would have just been notified so that I could have made all the corrections.
- No need to worry. You can revert any given edit once you have solid sources on hand. And by solid I mean reliable (and preferably) secondary sources, which does not include tabloids, blogs or forums (read WP:RELIABLE). Besides the titles, the info that you add to the body of the article also needs to be sourced. Once you have all sources ready, simply restore the info from an older version of the page. Hello, is there a way to save the last version that I had made as a draft that I can keep coming back to, to work on correcting, then only publish it at the end when it is completed? Thanks in advance for your help.
