I could not handle it!
editHi, Mladifilozof. I am really sorry our cooperation did not go that well. I started to get a bit nationalistic myself: So I am not editing on any page related to Albanians, nor any other ethnicity in the region, anymore. I am really glad to see you are still contributing though. I was reading about reality some days before. I see you made an edit there. What is Reality? is a great documentary if you haven't seen it yet. —Anna Comnena (talk) 20:54, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Light of the World
editHi, Good suggestion on Light of the World, I had forgotten about it - and it made me remember another title. A point I should probably mention is that we should try to use WP:SECONDARY sources, otherwise people will complain sooner or later. I added then to Light of the World, but thought I would mention it anyway. Thanks. History2007 (talk) 01:17, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Bosnian Genocide / Genocide in Bosnia
editHello Mladifilozof
I believe you were the person who originally redirected Genocide in Bosnia to Bosnian Genocide. There's been a heated discussion over the limitations of the Bosnian Genocide article in which I've been involved, suggesting that the article's current form, which emphasises the legal status of the specific expression at the expense of treatment of the substance of allegations of genocide and their continuing legitimacy, is inadequate. The discussion has not taken us much further. Another editor moved the article to the title Genocide in Bosnia. That move has now been blocked by the editor committed to the legal findings treatment, pending referral for discussion of the proposed move. As someone involved with the article in the past and familiar with the subject, yopu might be interested in adding your own comments. Opbeith (talk) 09:40, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

Can you modify Zhuangzi's picture that you uploaded?
editHello. Firstly, I'm not fluent in English, so I'm sorry if you cannot understand what I say, or if you are offended.
When I searched for the article of Zhuangzi in English, I saw the portrait of him that you uploaded. And I found out that this same picture is uploaded in about 8 different languages. However, this portrait is quite famous in my country, South Korea, as a portrait of Park Jiwon, a scholar in Joseon Dynasty. ((For example, in Korean Wikipedia, you can see almost same portrait-- the HTML is http://ko.wiki.x.io/wiki/%EB%B0%95%EC%A7%80%EC%9B%90_(1737%EB%85%84) )) Also, it seems like that this problem has also been raised as an issue. (( HTML : http://zh.wiki.x.io/wiki/Talk:%E5%BA%84%E5%AD%90 -- I cannot understand Chinese, so I do not know what he/she is talking specifically :( )) Therefore, I ask you if you can remove, or change this picture. This is my very first time writing in Wikipedia, so I don't know how to modify the article and I was terrified if I vandalize the whole article.. so I decided to talk to you.
If you have any question, you can contact to me. Thank you for listening to me and have a nice day. :) Michael0923 (talk) 09:41, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Anti-Fascist Council of the People's Liberation of Yugoslavia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tito (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Map Serbia in the Yugoslav Wars.png
editHi! I recently removed the map you uploaded to the Commons from the Operation Corridor 92 article, meaning to restore it later to the aftermath section - since the map is reportedly depicting territorial extent of RSK/RS-controlled areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. However, there's a problem with accuracy of the map: I'm aware that maps of this size may only be approximate at best, but there's a substantial error in the western Slavonia part of the map. Specifically, the outline found there currently depicts the extent of UNPA Sector West, but the RSK controlled only a small part of the sector in the south (south of Pakrac), while Croatia controlled the most of the sector since December 1991. Could you please fix the map before it is restored to the article?--Tomobe03 (talk) 12:29, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
Another relatively minor point is that the key entry "Territories controlled by Serb forces 1992-1995" implies fixed lines of control in the period. Truth be told, they changed slightly, but sufficiently to show on the map, especially in areas near Bihać (Velika Kladuša), Zadar, between Šibenik and Drniš and Livno Field at the very least. Perhaps it would be wise to change that particular caption to "Approximate extent of Serb-held areas, 1992-95" or something along those lines. Thoughts?--Tomobe03 (talk) 12:42, 15 November 2013 (UTC)

Malagurski
editHello there, just wanted to touch base with you regarding your edit on Boris Malagurski. The references that you mentioned in the edit description are Pescanik.net, BBC, and a B92 show. Of the three, only one mentions Malagurski, while the other two have nothing to do with Malagurski, and would be relevant for an article about the murder of the French football fan. As for the Pescanik.net reference, since one of those convicted in the court case writes for Pescanik (a simple Google search of Rastislav Dinic shows him as a columnist), Pescanik can't be considered a reliable source in this particular case. The segment also contains biased POV such as "Malagurski advocates on behalf of criminal groups of hooligans", while the last sentence in the paragraph is pure POV. Since this is an ongoing court case, I'd suggest waiting for the case to come to a conclusion, rather than adding POV and biased comments on it. If you insist on mentioning it in the article, we should stick to the facts on the case itself, without writing about what anyone thinks about it. Regards, --UrbanVillager (talk) 17:45, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- Just did a little Google search on your name, Damjan Pavlica, are you the one who wrote these two articles on Malagurski? Film-slop Weight of Ideological Chains and The rise of the young and the ruthless Boris Malagurskog? In the latter, the tags described Malagurski as a "liar", "cheat" and "fraud". If you wrote those, I would hope that you won't let your personal opinion outside of Wikipedia affect your wiki-editing. Regards, --UrbanVillager (talk) 17:53, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

editG'day Mladifilozof, I have nominated those images you added to the June 1941 uprising in Herzegovina article because, while they would be great if PD, they don't appear to be, as there is no information on znaci about the publishing of the images displayed there. It is a great shame, because there are some great images on that gallery. If you are able to establish when and in what publication they were first published, they might be able to be retained if it was prior to 1966. File permission problem with File:Blauwe Aanslag.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Blauwe Aanslag.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
ATTENTION: This is an automated, BOT-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate your file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

March Madness 2017
editG'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017. Speedy deletion nomination of Marijn Haverbeke
editHello Mladifilozof,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Marijn Haverbeke for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive
editG'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
- updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.

Wikipedia and copyright
editHello Mladifilozof! Your additions to Engolo have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:22, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

This is your third warning. — Diannaa (talk) 12:32, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Diannaa, thanks for warning me. I see that you have indiscriminately invalidated my entire work from the past few weeks. I do not copy other people's material, but convey claims by referring to the source, as this is a common practice. Can you tell me exactly what the problem is, ie which part of my entry is disputed? Mladifilozof (talk) 16:06, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- There was quite a bit of overlap with the thesis visible here. You can view some of the overlap by visiting the CopyPatrol report, and the rest I found manually and through the use of Earwig's tool. — Diannaa (talk) 18:19, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response. Writing can be challenging when there are only two scientific books available on the subject. I will certainly strive to improve the article, using the guidance and tools you've provided. Mladifilozof (talk) 18:30, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Cobrinha Verde
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Cobrinha Verde requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://capoeira.online/history/mestres/cobrinha-verde/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – Hilst [talk]

Hello, Mladifilozof
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Zsinj, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Gato Preto, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Zsinj}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Chetnik sabotage of Axis communication lines
editG'day. I saw that you moved this article without discussion. You can expect that any move of an article in the WWII Balkans space might be contested, and I recommend that a WP:RM is used, or at the very least some discussion on the talk page indicating a consensus, rather than moving it unilaterally, as it is bound to be moved back.
