The article is still just a stub, it won't get much of an assessment, beyond that or perhaps a starter. There is almost nothing about the man personally and no references at all. I am sure even a biography of Taylor should yield some personal data. EraserGirl (talk) 23:24, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorting of Bour Kry

edit

Hi IndulgentReader, I noticed you set the default sort for Bour Kry so that it's sorted by Kry. I believe the sorting should be based on Bour, the first of the two names, considering both the usage of monks' names in Khmer, and general conventions of Cambodian names. Now I'm not 100% certain if Bour is the last name (see here), but I'll be happy to gather the knowledge of other Cambodians on Wikipedia. Of course, if I'm totally wrong on this, please do let me know. Thanks for your attentiveness! Aaron Lee (talk) 16:54, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Um, I think I know who I am and have been in films, major and local and am pretty much well known in my state. It is really rude and predjuced for you to assume that I an a nobody you are probably from some other country, how could you possibly know what goes on about Rhode Island. Edit things and put in your 2 cents about things you actually know about!

Regarding your allegation that I am contributing vandalism to Wikipedia. Please reread the Wikipedia topic on this. My edit to RETURN another user's previous addition to the stub is an absolute good faith contribution to the wiki topic. In other words, I agree with the previous edit, not yours. Your disagreement on the issue doesn't make it vandalism, nor does it mean that my contribution was not of constructive, as you allege. My edit was under personal life and siblings of the artist is relevant, especially in an indie-filmmaker industry where circles are small. I agree with the previous user. Filmographies

edit

Hi. I noticed your work in updating and tabling filmographies and wanted to thank you. I had a suggestion if you're interested. We have begun including the awards and nominations in the filmography table itself, in the "Notes" column. A great many of them have individual awards page and it is a good thing to directly link the award to its page. I have a subpage in my user space with templates you can copy and paste for a lot of the major awards and you're certainly welcome to use it as a time saver. You can find it at User:Wildhartlivie/Award and nominations templates. There are several regular editors in WP:ACTOR who use this page and all say it saves a lot of time. In any case, thanks again for your efforts!! Wildhartlivie (talk) 09:47, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Film infobox

edit

Thanks for adding infoboxes to film articles, it really helps the project. It would be even better if you could use the {{start date}} format when adding release dates for the movie. Just so you know if you wanted to use {{FilmUS}} to add the country it will automatically add the category to the article. There are a lot of these such as: {{FilmDenmark}}, {{FilmUK}}, {{FilmSpain}}.; I think you get the idea. The language is a smart field in the infobox and it will automatically link the language (except English) with its wiki article if you just type the name. Everything is on Template:Infobox film but I wanted to tell you to make it easier for you to add infoboxes and make wikipedia a better place. Happy Editing! --Peppagetlk 20:56, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
