Hi. I hope you've been well. Some two years ago I recall you were quite helpful in addressing issues vis-a-vis German sources, for an AfD. There is another AfD that calls for such expertise. I don't know if you have the time -- or the interest -- but if you do perhaps you could look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jesko Friedrich. Many thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 00:51, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note! Hekerui (talk) 09:55, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest
Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

WikiProject Biography Assessment Help Needed
As one of the few Wikipedians to continue actively checking the WikiProject Biography assessment requests page, I would like to request your assistance in resolving a dispute I am having with User:Highschoolpuppettier regarding my determination that the La Digue article is not within the scope of WikiProject Biography. Despite my removal of the article from the assessment requests list and subsequent explanation of my reasons for that action on his UserTalk page, he has re-submitted the article for assessment by WikiProject Biography. Any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter, and in reviewing other assessment requests pending on the WikiProject Biography page would be most appreciated. --TommyBoy (talk) 08:58, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- You were correct to remove it. Looks like it has not come back to the page. Hekerui (talk) 05:51, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- Fortunately, it looks like he took my advice and had the article re-assessed by WikiProject Africa. As a result, I have removed the article from the WikiProject Biography assessment requests list. --TommyBoy (talk) 08:17, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. I have asked for input on whether a copyright-related speedy deletion tag should be removed if the copyright/NFCC failure is not contested. Allow me to reiterate. I was requesting for a new image in which only constitutional bans and statutes banning same-sex marriage were included on the map. States with same-sex marriage and civil unions would be left gray, as in this picture.

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Ram Narayan discography. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 23:35, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
I don't template regulars if ...
... they follow policies, which you didn't. DTTR is not intended to mean that regulars should never get a warning, and you're no exception. My edits were explained sufficiently in the edit summaries and didn't need further explanation on the talk page. Stop adding inappropriate external spam links. They add nothing to the article, and link to websites whose primary purpose is to sell their products. This was explained twice in my edit summaries, but you chose to ignore it. That deserves a template. If if continues, it will deserve a block. Instead of griping about getting a template, please real WP:ELNO, WP:SPAM, and WP:NOT. Most regulars have read those long ago. Cresix (talk) 11:35, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- You violated policy, and you've been adequately warned. Don't message me about this issue again, and if you can't resist the temptation, read WP:HOUND. I won't hesitate to go to WP:ANI if you continue. Cresix (talk) 15:03, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ram Narayan discography. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Cresix (talk) 18:25, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Update on same-sex marriage in Quintana Roo
According to El Universal (which is apparently the second-most widely read newspaper in Mexico, so I will assume it's reliable), the Secretariat of the Government of Quintana Roo announced that it would "reconocía la validez legal de ese y de los futuros enlaces matrimoniales entre personas del mismo sexo, al no haber impedimento jurídico" (recognize the legal validity of this [marriage] and future marriages of the same sex, without legal impediment). This decision came after one of the Quintana Roo couples—whose marriage was previously annulled by the Governor of Quintana Roo—appealed the decision to the National Human Rights Commission of Mexico as an act of sexual orientation discrimination. Thus, the two couples' marriages are now recognized again, as are all future same-sex marriages. Would you consider this enough to say that same-sex marriage is effectively legal in Quintana Roo, despite not being a law? Xnux 16:12, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

I've noticed that you changed the name of our governor to "Jim" rather than the name that he used as executive in all matters, including to veto the marriage equality bill passed by Vermont's General Assembly in 2010. Hopefully his veto document can provide the evidence you'll need to reconsider. Many of us never called him Jim. And, yes, I'm aware that his flacks long ago institutionalize the usage of Jim in his main article but that isn't whose name is on his statehouse portrait. Yo, so what, exactly, disqualifies the Debian article from being a "good article" ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.34.58.114 (talk)
- Please check the article talk page. Not having a good article symbol does not necessarily mean the article isn't good. The article underwent a good article evaluation (per WP:GAN criteria) and was not approved. And this process has to be repeated for the article to be listed among good articles at WP:GA. Article probation on Mitt Romney
Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Mitt Romney, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Wikipedia:General_sanctions/2012_Presidential_Campaign/Log. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.
The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you.--v/r - TP 20:14, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Helping with Tulsi Gabbard (formerly Tulsi Gabbard Tamayo) article
Hi! I noticed that you'd improved the Tulsi Gabbard article a bit this summer, and that you're interested in LGBT issues. I added this particular image not just because it is an artist's idle "guess" at what the planet may be like, but what appears by logical inference to be a rather good representation of conditions on the planet. Its mass would create a thick atmosphere with dense clouds blanketing its surface, but probably still leaving it habitable. While no calls have been made on the exact nature of the planet, this representation seems to be quite on the mark. Wer900 • talk • coordinationconsensus defined 05:53, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
