Infobox dates
editHi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |club-update=
or |pcupdate=
parameter for
club stats, or the |nationalteam-update=
or |ntupdate=
parameter for international stats, by
adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 14:32, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
The article Callum Nicell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NFOOTBALL.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:17, 17 June 2018 (UTC)

Spiral Scratch
editThank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Spiral Scratch. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
- Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references
Thank you.
- I reverted your edit because Single says nothing about 'Spiral Scratch' and I could find no other appropriate blue link.

editHello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kevin Ball, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. editPlease do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:21, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 15
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1993 U.S. Cup, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages John Barnes and David Platt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:27, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

editIt's usually JayDee, not Jay Dee Maness
editHey Franburke2, well done for creating the Jay Dee Maness page. Just one thing to note is that, usually his name is rendered as JayDee, rather than Jay Dee (as can be seen on his official website here. Therefore I suggest that the article be moved to JayDee Maness, with the Jay Dee Manass page being retained as a redirect page. I'm happy to perform the page move and create the redirect, but I wanted to check in with you first since you've spent time creating the article. What do you think? Thanks. --Kohoutek1138 (talk) 19:28, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Kohoutek1138 (talk) and thank you for the kind words. If you could please make the change/shift to the JDM title, that'd be great. Much obliged. Franburke2 (talk) 21:24, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- I have performed the move just now. I'll do some associated tidying up as well. Thanks. --Kohoutek1138 (talk) 10:02, 24 February 2020 (UTC)

editPlease stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:45, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
What is the page you are referring to, Mattythewhite? Franburke2 (talk) 21:12, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
If it's the last line of the Leeds United graf that you're referring to, please refresh to see the Mail ref I added. All of the content I upload, particularly the football content, is "well-sourced and verifiable" or AGF edits. Thank you.Franburke2 (talk) 21:21, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
Removed, Mattythewhite (talk) - the Mail verifiability issue was pointed out to me by another poster. Thank you. Franburke2 (talk) 18:17, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

editHi Fran, unfortunately the Daily Mail is not considered to be a reliable source, per WP:DAILYMAIL. Do you have any other sources to support the info? Kosack (talk) 21:33, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
Hello Kosack, I wasn't aware of the Mail's WP:DAILYMAIL status on the sports front. I'll remove the line + ref for now and see if I can add it again later. Thank you. Franburke2 (talk) 21:38, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

editHello. Your recent edit to The Broxbourne School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 00:52, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
- Re Georgina Carpenter. Thanks, Tacyarg (talk) 00:53, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
- Fair enough, @Tacyang. I was adding Pat Jennings Jr. to that list and came across the untagged Georgina Carpenter. Thx. Franburke2 (talk) 11:50, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Franburke2 (talk) 13:26, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
