List, comparison, whatever of CAR, CAD for AEC or whatever
editI am sorry to have caused you troubles with the page move. Historically the page was a list of CAD software, and was at one poitn moved to list of AEC software; The content of the age concerns, and has always concerned, all sort of CAD software. I think it should be split in an umbrella CAD page, pointing to list by subcategories, one of which would be AEC. I know this is quite some work to be done, but the move to list of AEC is not satisfactory either, because no list of general CAD software would exist. --Dwarfpower (talk) 12:49, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Replied to this on User_talk:Dwarfpower#comparison_od_CAD_for_AEC --duncan.lithgow (talk) 18:26, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Agree on your last comment I see if I can go through a rename --Dwarfpower (talk) 14:33, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- ok, thanks. It's not because I wouldn't like one big comparison. It's just that there was not enough interest in maintaining one. There's a lot of money at stake here for the small software vendors - so some of them really seem to want to be on the list. Perhaps I should also learn to organise a bit on Wikipedia to find other people like you who will help me maintain the page? Do you have any experience of how to do this? Where is customary for this sort of discussion to take place? Article talk page, your talk page or my talk page? How can I see if you are subscribed to this page? --duncan.lithgow (talk) 18:26, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Not sure if you caught this: [1]. Probably not really useable in the article (although perfectly reliable and some details quite shocking), but I felt it was one of those moments in radio broadcasting. Captain John Randall was the first British soldier to enter the camp. Just amazing and quite humbling. Quite a mixture of emotions, I found. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:30, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. I'll try and hear it sometime. --duncan.lithgow (talk) 11:48, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

- Thank you very much, indeed! I hope you liked the article! Keep your "new article" ideas coming, I prefer unwritten articles/stubs, about notable software/hardware, that have good press coverage. Wonderfl (reply) 06:07, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
- Just created Archibus. Please improve the Products section if you have any idea about their offerings. Regards Wonderfl (reply) 06:59, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
