Hi Bodrell, and welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, your last move was what was considered a cut-and-paste move. You can read more about it at WP:MOVE and Wikipedia:How to fix a cut-and-paste move. Cut-and-paste moves are discouraged because the entire edit history of a page is lost when these moves occur. Since your account is not yet four days old, the "move" function will not appear at the top of the page until it is four days old. Fortunately, these moves can be corrected by administrators. I have placed a notice at WP:ANI, the administrator's notice board. Also, moves are generally discouraged until a consensus has been reached at the article's talk page. Please take part of the discussion at WP:ANI. Again, welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for contributing! If you have any questions feel free to contact me at User talk:Cool Blue. Sorry about that. Since the only message on your talkpage was the welcome message, before mine, I just assumed it was under four days. I didn't even look at the date on the welcome message. I've striked the section. Sorry about that again. If you already haven't, you might want to just move the page regularly, with a message explaining your reasoning. Thanks, Cool Bluetalk to me 19:49, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and by the way, redirects preserve the history under the old title, but not under the new title. This is an issue because it could be assumed that you're claiming credit for the work that others have constructed, and that other versions of the history aren't readily accessible, and while this isn't a concern for experienced users, new users might have a hard time. Thanks for your understanding, Cool Bluetalk to me 19:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
