Strictly Come Dancing Average charts

edit

Hi, is there any reason why you only removed the average chart for the 2024 series and yet they are still there for the other previous series? MSalmon (talk) 16:48, 6 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

They should be removed from all seasons. Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:00, 6 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

ISU Junior Grand Prix in Switzerland moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to ISU Junior Grand Prix in Switzerland. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 07:40, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

2024 Skate America/WP:DE

edit

Hello. A) It wasn't disruptive. B) Just mentioning WP:DE in the edit summary without explaining why is not good enough. I matched the table to previous events/articles, I did not see a discussion about a new format, and you removed reliable sources. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:47, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia prefers secondary sources, which ISU results are not and SS results are. Additionally, why on earth would you revert to a previous format which requires additional effort to maintain? If five columns call for the text to be centered and two call for the text to be left-justified, then you set the table default to center and manually set the other two cells to left. Need you help

edit

Hello there, if you have time, can you help me edit ice dancer Michael Parsons and Caroline Green detailed results. I've already add some information. If you can help me it will be more better. Thanks. Stevencocoboy (talk) 09:21, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

I will try to update those when I have a chance. Thank you for your effort in keeping these skaters' articles updated. The only thing I would ask is that you use the new style tables that we developed a while back. The older style tables do not meet Wikipedia's MOS requirements and will have to eventually be replaced. Adding old-style tables now just increases the workload. Bgsu98 (Talk) 19:53, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Agree and I will using new style tables. I think it was perfect and easily to edit. Thanks. Stevencocoboy (talk) 04:11, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Invitation to participate in a research

edit

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:45, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

World records sections

edit

Hi Bgsu98, could you explain why you have been removing Template:Figure skating world records and the world records/achievement sections from pages? It does not seem to be part of Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2024 December 7 as you're indicating in your edit summaries. I think it would be best to get community consensus on the world records template before removing it. Riley1012 (talk) 15:44, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

I believe it was because they were unsourced. I can’t remember for sure, but that is usually why I remove that when I encounter it in articles. Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:07, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

U.S. Figure Skating Championships

edit

Hi there, thanks for your edit. I can accept your edit using left in table. But can you centralized in all table? It seems that some in left and some in center and it will be asymmetrical. Thanks. Stevencocoboy (talk) 08:01, 21 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand what you're asking. Bgsu98 (Talk) 08:05, 21 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sorry I'm not an American and have poor english. I mean before publish your edit, you can tidy up all what you want and make sure all tables was balance.
It seems that some format are different. The name format in gold and silver, bronze & pewter are different. You need to tidy up. Thanks. Stevencocoboy (talk) 08:32, 21 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
